Hand Placement
This somethign that I was questioning as I was crusing down I-79 this morning. What is the best hand placement on the steering wheel. I like to keep my left arm ridged and straight at about 12 o'clock. But that gets uncomfortable so I moved down to about 9 o'clock and noticed a slight indention on the inside of steering wheel. My thumb fit perfectly in the notch and I also noticed the same at 3 o'clock. Just curious what everyone else does with their hands... THX
I believe 9 and 3 is right, tho they may have changed that recently...
biggest thing is to not "grip" the wheel put ALL fingers on the outside of the wheel. if you were to hit something, you run the risk of ripping your thumb off your hand if it is wrapped around the wheel.

I don't know if you're going for that thug look or something but I've always hated that. I only do that when i'm joking around :-)
If i'm just crusing on the freeway, I'll keep my left hand resting at 6 o clock (palms up or down depending on how i feel) because not much steering is needed. Just make sure you aren't too far away from the wheel that you have to keep your arm extended like that...
