Been with GEICO for 30 years. They are first rate.. My 1996 GMC Yukon has hit on the drivers side by a drunk that blew a stop sign. They had a check for me the next day sfter looking at the car.. No hassle at all.. I pay $2200 a year for 3 cars.. a 1995 Volvo, a 1996 GMC Yukon and the 2003 350Z. I have 1 million/5 million liability and $100 deductable comprehensive/collision as well as full glass coverage on all 3 cars.. And I live in the NYC metro area. One of the most expensive area's in the country. I have a friend who pays that much alone just for his 350Z!! I can't complain.. I'm 55 & married.. Guess I could cut the premium in half if I raise the deductable from $100 to $500 but I'm keeping it whrer it is..

I'm 27, living in a pretty insurance-expensive area and I pay $1,000/year with Allstate. I have very good coverage but I only drive 10k miles a year. The premium would be slightly higher if I didn't drive so few miles, but it'd still be reasonable for a 2 seat sports car. I have a ticket on my record from 2 years ago and my insurance should drop slightly next year, because of that going off the 3 year record with them. Try Allstate. They've been pretty good to me so far.

I'm 43 yrs old- no points $455.oo for 6 months. This is cheaper than my previous Eclipse's." Georgia"
At this time my car is wrecked- "today" I hired me a lawyer! They all want you to pay, but they don't want to cover any DAMN thing for you.

I was paying 1390/6 months when i bought the car, but after asking my Allstate agent if she could do something to lower my rate cause ive been shopping around, she managed to take it down to 327/6 months. LOL ! I even got a thank you card in the mail from her. Hehehhehe.

I think the point is, insurance is like buying anything else. SHOP AROUND !!! They all want your buisness so if you have a clean record, i bet it is worth your time to get a few more qoutes... and with agents, not websites.

A lil background about myself: Male 25, been with the same agent at Allstate since I was 16 years old. 0 tickets on my record, 0 accidents. Humble Texas, just NE of Houston still in Harris County.

USAA is by far the best you will find. They are the most professional company I have ever dealt with. There is one catch though. You have to be in the armed forces, retired from the armed forces, or be related to someone who qualified as the previous two and had USAA as their carrier. If you can do it, go with them. They simply are the best. Good luck!

guys after doing ALOT of shopping around; the best quote I got was from Allstate. I'm paying 1600$ a year for the two cars now...the 2 tickets on my records really gave me some trouble when combined with the fact that I drive a sports car. Guess I need to slow down or something . Not sure what kinda crack those people at response insurance were smokin...Thanks for all the input; it was really helpful.

Cool

Sheesh! NJ sucks! GEICO pulled out of the state many years ago. I have Liberty Mutual. I'm 52 with a totally clean driving record, no points, no accidents ever and I pay $2,227.00 a year and that's after dropping the collision on my Nissan 200 SX!!!!
