Default New, Might be converting

Well just got here, nice site gallery and everything. Love all your rides. I'm in a is300 forum and i might just be converting to the Fairlady pretty soon, once my lease is up. Whats some good shops besides Stillen , for here in so cal? Anyone local want to show me their ride sometime, and any suggestions with leasing or purchasing? pros and cons of the car?

(i know most newbs do this, as it can bug when they do it on is300.net, but its real informative to hear from all the owners.) Thanks and sorry for newb postin.

1st, Stillen isn't a good shop, IMHO anyways.

Thanks for the comments on the site. I run most of everything around here and I appreciate comments.

Too many PROS to list.

CONS............

somewhat bouncy ride, i don't know if they fixed this for MY2004
tire feathering
small rearview (letterbox)
big bad blindspot
orange peel paint (not that bad unless you are a picky person)

and.....................

let this picture explain (photo courtesy of LeMans350z @ (350ZFrenzy.com)

this is what happens when your shift **** is exposed to the sun.

You joke, but my hand actually hurts after trying to burn the shifter onto my hand. It was even hotter than I expected!

BTW, my two brothers are named Victor and Mike.

Good one, Mike Wazowski.
Thanks for the pic! I hadn't seen that one before.

other CONS...
--too easy to get a speeding ticket
--attracts too much attention, everyone wants to talk to you when you shop, get gas, etc
--multiple blind spots, it takes awhile to get use to it and get your mirror set-up adjusted

these are small inconveniences compared to the PROS...

Good luck.

Peace

Thnx for the comments. Yea i'll be most likely gettin (if i get it)

a) rims
b) Lowering springs, which do u guys recommend? I have Eibach Pro Kit on my IS, but i like a lil lower, and coilovers are too expensive.
c) clear'd corners
d) Exhaust (Borla i'm thinking i like the way it looks, and ther hp numbers seem to do well.
e) Do they have a short shifter out yet? also a shift **** too (momo sphere or something)

Which mods if any do u guys like the most? Best Hp Gains w/ intakes which one ? etc etc.
