Watch out for the rear hatch in winter. That thing will hit you in the head.

If you are a teen don't tell anyone.

EDIT: And don't ask why.

The problem with 03's is that a lot of Fast and the Furious wannabe's are able to afford the car.

+1. God damn that movie to hell...

"Hai guize, I'm about to pull the trigger on an '03 base model with 150,000 miles and a salvage title, anything I need to look out for! PS I'm 16 and this is my first car! OMG!!"

Also, congrats on the buy. Don't be a stranger now.

Nothing wrong with pepboys nor autozone. Bought their brake pads with lifetime warranty (70.00) for my V6 tib. Auto-x all day and brought brake pads back. Replaced without question . Just make sure you go to the one with the teens working.

Regarding the wing, sounds great if that's what you want. I wish there was a sale on the Nismo V2 wing though, I frickin' love that thing.

Anyone know if these are any good? I'm just worried about the c/f quality.

EDIT:

And good LORD those Z, nissan replacement badges, are more expensive than i imagined.

Most of the problems documented with 03 z's or any car for that matter is mostly driver error causing them besides the obvious manufacturing issues.

Besides 1st year everyone is out for blood.

Welcome to the forum.

Personally i'd take the vehicle or any for that matter to a mechanic to check it over and let you know the real deal as in whats been done whats needed and how much you should bargain off the sale price due to that.

As far as buying a Z or any car (less its a beater) for that matter with 100k on it, That right there is INSANE!

Ricers are my favorite.. I pulled into a BK drive in once with a topaz on my *** with a huge fin and black hood I am going to say was not CF, revving his engine that sounded like a blender at me. We pulled out and my gf screamed "sweet ride essay" so he revved again.

With how many people that make fun of them you would think they would be less stupid. I just dread the day a 03 base drives up to me that looks like that.
