I don't think its ban happy, the moderators and the webmaster do a great job holding down the inane and just plain immature and stupid posts we get on it. I and a lot of others have remarked that is the reason they came to this site. They tried other sites and found too little content and too much childish nonsense on them.

We certainly do not ban people for their opinions, but we do have rules of conduct that are very flexible. I think the site allows for input from all age groups and many different viewpoints. Disagreements and relevant dialogue are welcome here, personal attacks on other members are not, and the staff does their job with a great deal of skill, I think. We do have a large number of members who have joined because we don't allow what some sites do. Endless carping and unrestrained personal attacks are boring and stupid. This site is not boring and stupid.
