I ordered headlights in october of 2010, and nic has continued to do nothing but make excuses, even after I have requested a simple refund. I have not seen any lights, and they owe me $1,800. I'm going to begin to pursue legal action this week.

 

I suggest contacting the Attorney General's office in North Dakota (where Nic/CiNcity is located) since his business fraud was conducted across state lines. Let us know if your contact with them is positive or encouraging. If so, myself and I'm sure other fraud victims would be interested in becoming part of a larger criminal case against Nic.


On a side note... I'm still looking for a reasonably priced set of used '06-'07 G35 coupe taillights with the exterior plastic in good condition. I haven't had any luck yet finding any though. I need them as donors to replace the original lenses on my taillights that Nic knowingly damaged and shipped anyway. The rest of the taillights appear to be fine. The LED mods work (for now). Just need to replace the lenses. Don't wanna have to pay the price of brand new OEM taillights just to use as parts donors to replace the damaged covers on my CiNcity modded taillights. Any leads or suggestions guys?

 

Hey man, theres some on ebay but the cheapest I saw was like $390 I will let you know if I find any others. That sucks big time! If you ever need light work again hit up TTRANK, hes local here in az (black twin turbo g35 sedan), hes the only guy I trust with my light work!!

 

Everyone should chip in for a plain ticket and ill go get everyones lights and money back!

 

Wooooowwwwww these guys are seriously still in business??? How the hell do they do it? How can they screw over so many customers and not get shut down?

I got very lucky to get my refund. People are still doing business with them because they have not done any research before buying from them. If they did some research they would see these threads (and the one I have made) and not do business with them.

 

Yea I normally do research on everything, but the one time I don't I get $%#@!ed.

I've seen some of his work before and he did a REALLY good job on headlights. I think he made pretty decent business until one day he just decided to take people's money and screw them over.

 

It's too bad he doesn't screw people over that live in North Dakota. If I were close enough, I'd drive over there.

 

Well Mr. Zipps has been out of business for a while now. CinCity seems to be the new pain in the @ss on the block. I'm seriously surprised nobody shut those guys down yet considering all the complaints from different forums.

 

I was referring to cincity. Mr zipps just started keeping peoples stuff, whereas nic seems to be more clever about it. Like the way hes kept giving me the runaround every time I call him, but for the last month I haven't even been able to get a hold of him.

 

I agree. I can't believe I backed this ****. He has my 350z 06+ headlights and my $3200 and tells me his shop has been moved to a new location but I haven't seen any proof they have been worked on. I spoke to him recently and he told me he would have a new location up and running in two weeks and have the wiring completed for my lights. He's holding up my project for my car. I told him if they weren't ready by the end of this week, I was going to fly out there personally, confront this dude and get my lights and money back.
