Ok , just read every thread posted - good stuff , especially liked , Bonz , the pic of Audio Pat at a meet with his sandals on with the white socks . Pat , defend yourself here . Where were you and how much had you had to drink before you put them on ? And how come that one didn't make it into the classics you put up Bonz ? Esplain Lucy ! Pat , you know I am just kidding ! You are an icon here . Can I do an article on you for Nissan Sport Magazine ?

I got mine 12-02, wrecked it (not fault of mine) with 21k dollars worth of damage in 2004 and they didn't total it.
They did a good job on her because I am just shy of 126k miles right now.
I joined this site early on with a different screen name (can't remember what it was) but I was a lurker. Been on this board for quite some time though.
I am not even close to wanting to get rid of her.

I took delivery of #399 in early September 2002. I owned it for 3 1/2 years, at which time I switched to an '03 Corvette Z06. I'm completely content with the Z06, and have no desire to buy a 370Z. In fact, I don't really even want any other car at this time...I love it.
I recently left my position as Sales Mgr. at StopTech in LA, and moved to Charlotte NC. I'm now working very closely with the folks at AP Racing via Essex Parts Services. We are the exclusive importers of AP Racing competition products...focusing heavily on NASCAR.
Hello to all of the old-timers!

Is it soup yet?
Reflections of Bonz drinking the Koolaid.
Pat, not willing to wait for the longshoreman's strike to end, decided he would take matters in his own hands and retrieve his Z.
Me, asking Angels' owner Arte Moreno if he has info on my Z pre-order status.
Good times - good people.
Happy Holidays to all Z owners, past, present, and future.

Wow. Hi all.
I'm not technically a pre-order. I waited for one of the first ones to show up to make sure that I wasn't too tall to fit in it. I placed an order in September, that went into the October build order. Car was built on Nov 28th and shipped over. I finally took ownership on Jan 16th... it came in a couple days earlier, but I was at a sales conference and had to wait 2 days to get back into the area.
I remember the VIN Soup thread and tracking that -- I remember the Longshoreman strike and knowing that my car would go through Portland I thought I'd just head down and pick it up myself. :P
I remember the debates about which clearbra to use, which "wax" to use (First coat on it after taking it home was Zaino and has been ever since. Even my Mini-van and Truck get Zaino'd -- it's just easier to use!).
I remember being SO dissapointed with the Bose. I was on a first name basis with my local service manager. It got so that if I said there was something wrong with the car and there was a TSB on it, it was just Gospel and he did the work.
I've got just over 51k on it now. Still in great shape, I do some light tracking with it, and use it as a grocery getter when I don't need that many groceries, and drive it to work whenever I can.
It's been a lot of fun!
