Angry Disgrace to Z drivers

Dude why do you post in a Z forum saying stuff like "the Z handles okay, the power is lacking, and the engine is rough"

Why the hell did u buy it? to have somethign to complain about? We are here because we love are Z and appricate its heritage, so dont come here and knock anything and everything about the car because you are used to owning cars with a 5 x higher price.
"but its good for sloggin around town" Idiot

"I didnt know what people would think of me" If you bought a Z for the same reason that any Z owner did U wouldnt have t o drive around and trying not to let people see you driving the "econo box "

Sell the Z now and get yourself a Mercedes or something man.

Default 123NissanZ = Lame

That post was complete garbage.

"econo box"?

Exclusive neighborhood in Tucson? Is there such a thing? Tucson's a dump.

"I could never take the F355 to Walmart". You shop at Walmart and drive those cars? Highly unlikely. What next, Kmart?

Lame story, lame comparisons.

My last car was a Ferrari Enzo, I live in Tijuana and just bought a Z.

It sucked until I got some 20" spinnas on it (see avatar)

It is an okay car for hauling manure around.

My other cars are:

1977 Millenium Falcon
1984 Delorean Time Machine

Notice how the dats coincide with the movie releases (I think Star Wars was 1977 ) I couldn't think if any cool cars from 1990s movies.

1994 Subaru SVX (4AT)- My first car and my 2nd best car. It had so much character. Everywhere I went people would always have a puzzled look on their face. It had split windows which was a plus in my mind. There was virtually no wind noise at 70 mph on the highway. Even up to 100 you could have a conversation with a passager without yelling. 230 HP, AWD, 3.3 liter I6. It was pretty fast, great around corners and was extremely reliable. Never had a problem. Compared to the Z it's no question but it was better than 70% of the cars on the road 8/10
www.subarusvx.com

2001 VW Jetta 1.8T Wolfsburg Edition (5MT) - My 2nd car and my worst car. When I say worst I don't mean bad, it was just the worst of the three. It was a fun car to drive, little cramped but pretty luxurious. The turbo was a big plus, it made you feel like you were going much faster than you were. It handeled suprisingly good for a 4-door sedan. Looked pretty good, had 16' BBS rims and a window tint. Very reliable as most VW's are. About 10 steps below a Z but still an all around good car. 5/10

2003 Daytona Blue 350Z Track Edition (6MT) - This car is amazing. Its' speed, handling, looks (inside and out) are flooring. It is by far my favorite car that I have driven or owned. The engine note is beautiful and the exaust note is inspiring. I have no complaints except I like the torque to exceed the HP in a car, but in this case I'm willing to make an exception . I get looks everywhere I go, not the most important thing but it makes you feel awesome that people take the time to look at what you drive. Everytime I see it I can't help but smile. I love the Z! 10+

Your a pretty nice guy Mike. I am posting to the forum, just like everyone else so lay off.

If you want pictures just give me your email, or tell me how to post them. I'll send everything you want.

I still have the cars, so you want me to hold a sign in front of them with the date?

Not everyone in this world makes 200k per year, some make 4 million. What are the odds that someone of this caliber owns a 350Z? What are the odds that they might like to post on this forum as well?

I am giving you my honest opinion, comparing the Z, to the other cars I have owned. What more do you want?

Lay off dude.
you should have just admitted it was a joke, because i thought it was actually pretty funny...as a joke. the pathological liar thing makes it not funny.

Default 2003 Rsx Type S

The RSX was a great car for the price, try to beat the handling/performance for 21,500 out the door..

Anyhow Z has tons more torque, much more safe to drive at high speeds, and takes turns like no other I've been in..

Only thing I miss about the RSX is the sound, stock exhaust with AEM intake at about 7000 rpms really sounded fierce, too bad it didn't perform quite as well as it sounded

2001 Audi A4 1.8T with APR Stage II (chip + exhaust = ~210hp), 17" wheels, Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs. It was a great car, fun to take corners with the quattro system, but it lacked the ooomph I wanted.

I wanted to get a 300zx but couldn't afford it when I was 18, 1995 300zx's went for about 20+ and I could get new cars 0 miles, tons of warranty for 20,000 even.

My mom owned a brand new datsun 280 when they first came out if that counts, black w/ maroon interior

See I have some history!!!

2000 Celica GTS. I liked this car a bunch but you had to have it ABOVE 6000 rpm to have any sort of power. I liked the sound but others thought it was loud as hell. The styling was cool and looked like nothing else. Looks like the designers got tired by the time they got to the back of the car.

Oh and I blew the engine twice. The first time a valve failed at 26,000 miles and at 54,000 miles the I had a main bearing failure. Both were fixed under warranty (of course that means the dealer had the car for 2 weeks each time). A total of about $3,000 each time.

Sooooo, that was yet another good reason to get my Z! My warranty on that Celi was out in 5,000 miles.

I really liked the Celica's interior. Very "fighter pilot". I don't think the Z's interior is all that great for a car that costs $10,000 more. But of course I love my Z! I stare at it like it's Selma Hyakk (sp?) every time I leave it in the driveway.

I had its direct competitor in H.S. (RX-7). Doesn't that count for anything? And then its cheaper sibling (240SX) in college.

For me, just like supirio, it was due to funds and timing. I had wanted a Z32 for a long time, but it never worked out. Then, something horrible happened. Nissan, Mazda, and every other self respecting Japanese auto mfgr pulled every car they sold in this class out of the U.S. or they stopped manufacturing them altogether

When I bought my 350Z, I told many people (and still do) that this is the car I wanted to buy 5 years ago, but nobody sold one

Then came the 350Z. For this I say, thank you Nissan

2002 Subaru WRX. It was a great car, the only reason I dumped the little baby was because I decided to throw down a deposit on the STi and wait in line for a few months. Ended up finding a smoking deal on my Z and had to go for it. It's a nice change from the subie, but each has it pos. and negs. I love the way the Z handles ( this car does so much better at the autocross events), the styling, and the pimp factor. I always wanted a Z in high school, so I just said F it, I can buy another 4 dour when I have kids. Subie was a great car though, lots of fun, I miss launching that thing from a stand still and freaking out my passengers, the spool of the turbo, yada..yada..yada.

I had an '02 Nissan Spec V. I did a few mods to it (intake, header, exhaust, motor mount, knock sensor relocation, dvd system with xm), but it was nowhere near as nice or fun as the Z is in stock form. I'm going to the mountains tomorrow for the first time in the Z to play on some curvies!
