Curious: what was your previous car and how does it compare to the Z?
Previous cars:
85 Nissan 200SX Turbo
85 Mr2
84 Porsche 944
84 300zx Turbo
86 300zx Turbo
87 Merkur XR4Ti
88 race prepped CRX si
8X corolla gts
88 rx-7 convertible
87 rx-7 coupe
As for comparisons, the porsche, crx and rx-7 handled the best back in the day, but had no power compared to the 91 TT I have. The 350 handles great so far, but doesn't have the power of the TT, at least not yet. The stang is fun car being a convertible and having the supercharger, but alas it still handles like a stang. With some more power the 350 will rival the TT for top spot on my list.

Think of the difference I've encountered
89 civic hb dx
92 " "
00 civic si w/h.i.e
Guess what, I drove the si not too long ago, and I now wonder why I got excited at 4500 to 5200 rpm. Oh yeah vtech. One problem though, they didn't feather its tires.

1991 Honda prelude (Sold)
1997 Honda CRV (Current) 120,000kms
1994 Nissan R32 GTR (Current) 40,000kms
2004 Nissan 350 Z roadster (Current) 10,000kms
I use the CRV for daily drive to work, 350ZR for weekend car and the GTR for race car or special event. Even the GTR is 10 years older car, trust me, it doesn't feel like out dated to drive around. 350ZR is feel more comfortable, more enjoyment when the top down. Specially with the exhaust installed. I would say I love both of them equally.

Leman Z, You are so lucky to have the opportunity to be able to purchase a GTR without the pricetag or the same hassles compared to U.S. Glad to hear that you enjoy them both equally though

i Currently have a 97maxima se, parting it at the moment and i was boosted also. but my close friend has a z and i have decided to upgrade to a z.
i have driven my friends car and its really nice and i love it. now that im not boosted, i feel like my car is fast, but not fast enough. i'd like to have a quick car right out of the factory and yes im a newbie so please dont flame because i dont have a z yet.

The back seat of that car was a joke anyways, so getting only a 2 seater in the Z is not much of a difference. But I do miss the decent sized hatchback space where I installed a nice 12" sub in a big bandpass box -- I had to give that up cuz no way the Z could fit that. But oh well, the Z definitely goes a bahjillion times faster than my old teggy.

Still have the car in the family, gave it to my sister. Awesome car. I remember thinking that car was fast, now when I drive it I chuckle.Tubbs SF
Last car = 02 v6 stang..... CRAP!!! then 00 Ford Ranger 4x4, not bad. 87 Mustang cpe 5.0, 500rwhp, (fast as hell... but old). 88 5.0, 68 Mustang fastback (nothing compares).
04 350Z SB, ENth., 6MT, = love it so far, on day 1. I will let you know on day100 what I think...

2003 MR2 Spyder lots off mods looked sweet but not enough power
befor that 1999 BMW 330CI destroyed it when I almost died about a year ago
I have had 3 cars in about a years time but love the Z!!!

Previous car was a 98 corvette. In terms of straight line acceleration there is no comparing the corvette to my G35 coupe. But in terms of handling and braking, I would say the G35 is on par, if not a little better. And the quality level is head and shoulders above the corvette. And I cannot believe the attention I am getting in the G35. Great car. It would be nice if the G35 had

1997 240sx - auto, show queen until i started beating the hell out of it...i realized having a show car sucked so i sold it and bought a 1990 240sx for 600 bucks - beat the hell out of the car, learned how to drive stick on it and learned how to **** in my pants around turns, handling wise, i feel as though my 240 handled better, acceleration differneces and torque are insanely different especially after 2nd gear, 240 was too underpowered but i still love that pos. not much differnece except for the interior, going from 600, to a 30g car is such an upgrade haha

waiting for my Z in 2 more weeks - but right now i still got my '02 Audi A4... ill never buy an Audi again...someone said Saturn is a POS? Well the Audi is a POS without the dent-resistent doors
My previous significant car was a RX-7 twin turbo.
The 350 is much more refined/luxurious/safer and roomier inside. Torque delivery is much better and it's *far* better on gas. It's much more reliable. I'd say the brakes/ABS are better to.
The RX-7 IMO is better looking inside and out (barely), much easier to modify, more balance OEM handling, and a much more 'involving' drive. It's a perfect weekend car and absolutely lousy daily driver (which I did for 6 years).

I had a 1999 Honda Civic EX automatic which had a supercharger on it. It was still slow, but I had a lot of memories in that car.
Then I got a 2003 VW GTI 1.8T 5 speed. That car kicked ***, had alot of space, and features.
Z rules though.
