Picked up my redline from Gwinnett Place yesterday - don't see how anyone can ***** about the car or Gwinnett Place - the car is all I thought it would be, and GP has been great to me - got the prettiest customer service director of any car dealership with which I have dealt - no one was allowed to touch my car except for the man involved with the inventory, the head detailer, Tina and Sherlund - no sales people. As far as I'm concerned, everything has been A++++++.

 

I getting a Black Touring Automatic w/burnt leather, all the trimmings except for air bags and nav. system.
I ordered on July 16th thru Peachtree Nissan @MSRP w/$1000.00 refundable. No vin# or idea or when it will arrive.....guesstament.....Dec

I ordered a chrome silver Touring edition with a 6-speed from Larry Rich Nissan in LaGrange, GA. The car should arrive early October. I live just south of Atlanta and would be interested in meeting up once I get my car.

Sherlund (or whatever is name is) never returns my calls, told me no Z would be there till Sept (twice) and generally has been 'difficult' to deal with. I even had to have Nissan Corp call him to even get him to call me back!!

Did they put the front license plate on your car? If not, did you have to request that they keep it off?

I talked to Tina, and requested no front plate, No Gwinnett nissan sticker , and leave floormatts in the plastic. She has no problem with the requests. My plate bracket will be in the rear cargo space.

 

Picked mine up from Regal yesterday. Was the first one to pick up a Z from there. The other guy's Z was in the showroom when I picked mine up.

I was looking for the Silverstone, must have been yours. That's cool.They have the chrome silver now. I should be getting my silverstone/6spd/touring in 3 weeks.

 

I was there at about 4 pm today (just got back from a little Sunday drive) finishing up some paperwork. Was there for about 15 mins and about 7-8 people were crowded around my car when I came out. Hehe.

I picked up my Redline Z from Peachtree Nissan last Wednesday. They treated me great. They were smart enough not to put on that horrid front plate, or try and put a dealer sticker on the tail (I would have strangled them all!). THey even kept it in the back lot to prevent people oggling it and allowed NO ONE to drive or touch it (except the PDI mechanic and the detailer (touched only)) Also I got the car for MSRP no extra fees or BS, but they were a bit grumpy when my bank undercut their financing by 2.2%

Anyway, the JC is on the otherside of town for me (I'm in Cobb), but I'll try and bring my Z for the meeting tomorrow night.

 

Seems like there are a lof of Z owners with AOL IM accounts. Why doesnt someone start a chat session one time and we can get together online! Its probably better to start another thread with that title...
