Ya the salt was the only thing that I understood....I have a 95 Lexus SC400 now and it is rear wheel drive so its deff not great in the snow (fun though haha). The traction control realllly helps though I wouldn't consider it dangerous. In the snow I'll drive as slow as I need to. Is it just not fun to drive in the snow because you cant use any of the performance or is it dangerous because of the performance? Sorry if thats confusing

With decent winter tires, the Z does just fine on snow and ice. Why not drive it??

Plus, my redline looks sexy on clean fresh snow covered streets.

I will drive my z every day there is not fresh snow. Once they plow the streets, the z is comin' right back out.

no, because when it is parked in the garage I change my insurance coverage to "storage." So if I did wreck or something else happened I wouldnt be covered

and also, it's not MY driving I don't trust on snowy roads/icy/slushy roads....it's a lot of other people's driving I don't trust. Yea i could spend some money on snow tires, however other people who dont know how to drive in snow can still hit me. which happens a lot here in columbus. I dont know what it is about winter that just makes people lose all knowledge of smart driving??? For instance, the people that feel it is a good idea to stop on an icy incline or think they need no extra time for breaking. So i would be a lot happier getting rear ended in a piece of **** that cost me 600 bucks rather than my Z.

I will daily drive mine as well. When it snows here I just don't go out. Work isn't worth me risking my life if there is snow on the road I just take a PTO day.

As for the salt, I wash my car just as much in the winter as I do in the summer. Might not be as thorough when it's 20 degrees but still gotta get the salt off!

I'd gladly get winter tires and drive the Z year round if it wasn't for the piles of salt the town dumps on the roads.

I have a 96 accord I'll be rocking until the spring

I'm pretty Sears has a driving school.

So you park a car with monster tires, ABS and VDC and drive a beater with thin tires and none of the above? Hmmm. Don't get it.
