Default Full Dress Rehearsal

I couldn't resist a rehearsal for the 'big moment'. I still have two more weeks to wait but the local dealership was kind enough to humor me with one of their stock Z's.

LOL! I think you need to dress up a little more for your full dress rehersal though.

Nice of you to put a picture of your sales guy in your avatar.

Does he ever change clothes?

ChromeZ - yep, that's Hilltop and that is a Chrome Silver Performance (VIN 000158). According to the dealership, the buyer moved out of state. It can still be yours for $7K over sticker. Further bad news, I let my wife sit in it. She won't come home now....

ZBarrister,

Raced up to Serramonte Nissan to see the Brickyard before the new owner picked it up. All I can say about the color is WOW!!! The car was an Enthusiast model so had the carbon cloth. Very rich looking combination. The car was inside under fairly bright lights. Color looked about a foot deep, very dark, metallic, no purple tint (that's a good thing) Intense wine color. As many have said before: "Pictures don't do it justice."

Nissan has built a great car and then done a superb job of chosing colors for it. The colors are more complex that those I've seen on the TT's, a lot more like the special paints you see on Mercedes, and Porsches, but with a better choice of colors.

Please bring your car by when you get it. Corner of Zanker and Montague. I promise not to drool directly on it.

I think that the only good thing about living in Michigan as far as automobiles go is that we don't have to have a front plate. That really hurts the front end styling! It's sad

Pooh it looks like i will be in my car in about one week!!

So i think a viewing can be arranged!

Thanks for your comments on Brickyard...i think it's the sleeper color of the bunch, no one was quite sure of it but it has turned out to be quite a stunner!

pointfivezero, is that grey shirt your "Lets see the Z Shirt"? I see you were wearing the sameone in your avatar pic. The one which shows you with mr. K.

p.s. That salesman can't be for real! I love that outfit! It's like he is wearing his Zorro suit.

I thought you were going to sell your Z for a quick buck. What happened?

rai - couldn't swallow the quick buck thing. Too much of my life is
invested in the Z.

To all the other fashion monitors - the shirt in the avatar is a desert sand tan and the shirt in the dealership photo is a steel gray. We need a color blindness test!

careful with the "desert sand tan" stuff.....apparently it is the position of some ppl that "real men" are supposed to relate real life examples when addressing color. I was virtually gay bashed before when using the term "sea foam green" when describing the late evening appearance of silverstone.

it's funny though, I would have guessed that you shirt was more of an ecru than a desert sand tan.
