Default How can I sleep now???

So after seeing the pics about Z's arriving in Dallas I went over to Nissandriven.com and did the search on my dealer...and presto three were listed. Now I don't have my vin yet, was told two weeks ago that mine would arrive in September. What kills me is that one of the 3 models listed at my dealer is the EXACT model w/accessories that I ordered. Now I would assume that this is not mine but I was the 4th out 15 ordered....hmmmm...how early does the dealership open...not sure but I will start trying pretty early. That's assuming I can get some rest now...not trying to get hopes up, but dealers have been know to drop the ball on communicating to customers...ok enough I'm out.

I'm not sure if the Inventory Check really means anything yet regarding our Z's. For example: Yesterday I pulled up a dealers inventory near my work. It showed (3) Z's. I went down to the dealer, and they only had one Z, and it wasn't one of the three.

Maybe someone should check the accuracy of that information by checking an Altima's inventory at a dealer. Find one at the site, call the fleet manager, and ask if they have that particular VIN at their location.

I think we might get a better idea testing on a different model car than calling the dealership on a Z right now.

Just saw a thread by Westpak that may clear this issue up.

The Dealer Inventory page has proven to be fairly accurate for me. I used it 3 times. Called the dealer in Colma yesterday since he was reported to have 3. The truck was driving out when I called. Blew him away. Don't know if the VIN's were the right ones, but the colors he had matched what Nissandriven stated. Checked a dealer closer to home and he had one of the 2 the Dealer Inventory page indicated. Today I rechecked the site and found that the 3 previously reported for the Colma dealership were gone, but a new Brickyard was there. Called the dealer and he said the 3 had been picked up, but the new one was on the floor waiting for its owner to show. Dealr inventory site had 5 out of 6 right.

Maybe the dealer I checked above was a fluke.

On another check I did (my actual dealer), the results were much more accurate.

Yesterday, the website showed they had none. Today, my dealer emailed me and said they rec'd 2 Silverstones last night. I just checked nissandriven, and it now shows my dealer with 2 Silverstones.
