Default I can't sleep because my Z is coming tomarrow the 3rd.

MAN.....after this long wait...I should be driving it today but no delieveries on labor day. SSSSooooo I been told tomarrow is the magic day. It showed up in the dealers inventory today (monday).
I told my work the deal. So its all a matter of time. The dealer already is trying to screw me since they appaised my trade in at 3500 (kbb.com says 4800 for trade in) now telling me 2700. I guess trying to make that margine alittle bigger. Now I hope thats the end of their tactics. I was preapproved and was told everything is cool. But we all know how dealers can be.

Fingers crossed and losing sleep.

I can't sleep either for the same reason.

My dealer called me to tell me that my Z will be in today or Wednesday (it's also listed online in their inventory). I'm trying to get some work completed on two projects right now so that I will have time to get to the dealer to protect my Z from any/everyone. Since it's the first truckload at the dealership, I know everyone there will want to sit-in/touch/drive it.

At least you have your trade-in partially worked out, I will need to get my appraisal and loan paperwork done today. I was caught unprepared since my Z is getting in two weeks early.

*jinx jinx*
I'm just worried that the shutdown of CF will somehow affect our Z deliveries.

I wouldn't be too concerned about CF going Chapter 11. In the press release it was stated that

"The segment of the trucking industry these companies serve is known as less-than-truckload, or LTL, which means they handle pallet-sized shipments of freight from numerous customers in the same truck."

I don't think car carriers are in this segment of the industry.

Mine showed up in inventory Monday morning also. My dealer has been open for 22 minutes now and still no call! It's going to be a long day of waiting.

Abyss,

Watch out for typical dealer scam on financing. They already pulled the stunt on you on trade in. They know you want the car bad, so they may surprise you on interate rate even you're preapproved. Check out this link on typical dealer tactic. => http://www.carbuyingtips.com/

My dealer told me, after checked my credit, that they can beat my Credit Union interest rate. However, they won't tell me any more than that. After a day or two, I fed up and went with PeopleFirst.com, got 4.75% APR, 36 months. Signed the check to dealer when I picked up the car. They took it like cash.

Don't let the dealer take you for another ride.

IT should be the same.....here in dallas since all the texas cars get dropped off here...and thats when they go in the nissandriven site...most cars in dallas get theirs the day it shows up in inventory...BUT labor day may have messed things up ...maybe alot of call in sick truck drivers...

Thanks for the dealer tips...If i get screwed...I'll work on getting my credit fixed and refinance it. I though 655 Fico was good enough...but it is very obvious...they are taking me for a ride, question is are they gonna cheat me out of the car even though I have everthing set to the dollar on the deal since aug 15th....they have already made changes.

Fingers crossed....Will i get the car today???? Will the dealer cheat me again???? ONLY TIME WILL TELL

Default Moving target

My org delivery date was Aug 26, then Sept 4, now the dealer says Sept 12. Argh!

I'm not showing on the nissandriven inventory list, so I guess I should start getting comfortable with the 12th.

There appears to be no ryhme or reason to the delivery schedule, completely unpredictable.

I have a VIN number that begins with 000 and less than 900 in the final numbers and see others much higher being delivered.

Oh well another week of torture.

I hope you have a nice mattress because buddy your going to be tossing and turning tonight.Might as well get drunk it will make it easier on youAnyways hope the dealer doesnt rake you over hot coals to much. You might want to hit a couple other dealers to see what they will give you for trade as a bargaining chip but I have an idea you wont have time for that.-Will

Default Did your car arrived?

Abyss,

More than 24 hours gone by with no update from you. Either you're out driving or so ticked off by Nissan & the dealer that you're speechless. Hope it is the former. Let us know if you have good news.
