You probably will need some short (around 2 feet) pieces of 2x10's to put in front of the ramps. The front of the bumper lip might drag on the ramps without building a tier of 2x10's to the ramp. I've also seen the tail pipes drag when getting up on the ramps. When loading a lower car you need to watch the front, the undercarraige, and the rear of the car.

thanks for the reply, we hate driving it on the salted roads, just not sure what to do. The pickup could also sand blast the front of the trailer and car. Again thanks .

When we were first married I owned a Fiat Spider, with kids it became a Toyota station wagon. Twenty-seven years later I saw a Sky at a local dealership, my wife was not impressed with it's quality.(I am now in awe of her wisdom) Next we drove 600 miles to Denver to look at a Miata retractable hardtop, the paint and overall feel of the car was disappointing. On a whim we drove another 400 miles into MN and test drove a base Z, we were impressed. Unbelievable, compared to a Sky or Miata, for less money, a lot of miles driven but well worth not making a bad decision.
