Has anyone towed their Z on a carrier behind a U-Haul truck?
Moving from Houston to San Diego; wife would have to drive her vehicle and I would have to drive the U-Haul and tow the Z (considering other moving options as well, but the focus of this thread is the stated configuration).
Wondering how the Z will fare on the trip. Trouble getting it on the trailer? Concerns with rock chips, etc.? (I'd probably cover half the car with racer's tape...) Anyway, just wondering if anyone has done this and it they would post up their experience.

I trailered the Z behind a rented truck (not U-Haul) from Seattle to Arizona in 2003.
At the time, U-Haul did not offer a trailer that would fit the Z.
The trailer got a flat tire after we crossed the California desert, but it was fixed quickly and at no cost to me.
It was a tight fit on the trailer. I bought a car cover and we roped that sucker on the Z, but it still tended to flap loose in spots. And the Z has a few very light marks where the rope rubbed.
When I moved back last year, I drove the Z and used a moving company for my stuff (company paid, thankfully). That was a much more enjoyable expierence.
