And yes, today was something of a religious experience for me. If you can't appreciate it at the same level I did, then you might want to rethink your reason for buying this car...

That first row is looking good with all those chrome Z's...I'm hoping one is mine..Even though My ETA is mid sept. you never know...Thanks for the pics I was really tempted to leave work early today to come down there...

Advice for Finding the East Coast Zs
Here is some advice:
NSANY and I went there Wed night to do some recon and find out where Nissan cars where stored and offloaded. Since web info for port newark is sketchy at best we started at the Bayonne docks and found Toyota, Mazda, Ford, Volvo. As the recon continuted to Elizabeth, we found more, KIA, Daewoo, Hyundai, and tons of domestics you would not believe the # of new yellow cabs there. So after about two hours into our mission we finally found it the right it off of Corbin St. This was not the DAS lot, this was an unamed lot where the boat offloads the cars, the DAS lot is further inland so cars are first stored here (all the pics we took today) then driven over to the DAS lot for final prep and loading onto car carries. All and all this took about three hours of driving around the docks, thank god for GPS naviagtion(old school laptop and GPS receiver with power inverter).
The stories from that night will forever bring me and NSANY a good laugh. So advice for driving around port newark with cameras, binoculers, laptops, and GPS receivers are as follows:
Nighttime Advice:
* stopping on the Bayonne bridge and looking over the side with binoculers will draw some attention.
* stopping outside any lot with any kind of new cars surrounded by 6 ft fence with barbed wire and peering in with binocs and cameras will draw some attention. (every lot has 24 hour security guards)
* pretty much stopping anywhere down there in the middle of the night will draw attention. Try to keep moving.
Daytime Advice:
* try to look like you belong there (kinda difficult with a digital camera in hand)
* Just try your best to stay behind the fences and or barbed wire.
most of our pics where taken from public roads, so it would seem leagally your not do anything wrong, but this place is crawling with customs agents, Port Authority Police, and hired security, so if they tell you to beat it, I would just listen. Everything is on hightened security down there, and looking suspicous is easy to do trying to pics of our Zs.

I know it's hard to see in the pictures
There where proably about 10 to 15 LeMans Zs down there today. I know it's tough to see in the pictures. But 50% where chromesilver and silverstone, then proably black, then sunset, then white, then red, then brickyard. In that order.
You all have very good eyes, there where some G35s mixed in there as well..

There were a few G35s in there, and then it shifted to Pathfinders in the back.
Regardless, there were a LOT of 350Zs down there today, and more are coming. Let's keep the positive energy going, folks. We're on the home stretch here.
