Default My Baby was in a wreck, but now its almost back to life....

A month ago my Z was involved in a wreck due to some ILLEGAL people that were driving on the road and then tried to run from the cops. Needles to say, its a long story and i honestly dont feel like typing it all. All im gonna say is, the whole front end needed replacement as well as the airbags and the whole dashboard... Well i wanted to share some pics with you guys. Unfortunently i dont have any pics up of how the car looked when it was wrecked but i have some pics of the car being fixed in the shop...

The Interior all torn apart, and the new dashboard put in...

Underside of the hood painted and clearcoated...

07-08 Hood, top part unpainted...

Top of the hood painted as well as fenders repainted with all new front end parts installed...

Bumper painted with custom flat black center...

Side shot of the bumper...

Final installment, all finished...

I will take much better pics once i get the car back and fully detail it my way. It is filthy right now and needs much cleaning..Overall i am happy with the how everything turned out. The 08 hood looks amazing on the Lemans color in person.

sucks about your accident. If it was that bad then shouldn't it have been salvaged? What year is your car? It came out okay. Do you know if you have any frame damage? does it still drive the way it used to before the accident? You should have put on a bodykit or something rather than stock pieces.

The car is a 06 Touring. No frame damage at all, the accident happend at 15mph. didnt touch the frame at all. The motor is still in tact and the car drives the same. honestly i dont like body kits, and my car is still on a loan, so the bank requires that the car is returned to oem because of the loan. I personally like the stock look better IMO.

Thanx dude. Yea stock is the way to go for me. Body kits don't do justice IMO. I like the look of originality the most with a little extra but not too much...

What you done to your bumper is what I've done to mine. Looks great although I used a flat black for mine. Maybe I should have gone gloss. hmmm..

PS, and why is my text bold and italicized?
