Default Speed bumps suck...

This happened a while ago, but im bored and i dont think i ever posted this up here.

So i tried to make it over one of those bolt-in speed bumps...failed.

I made it about 3/4 way till both back wheels were off the ground and i was basically sitting on chassis. A few guys that were stuck behind me got out and helped push my car off. Then one of them had the genius idea for me to drive around on the grass. ( i just wanted to turn around but at this point there was already like 12 cars backed up behind me) The grass worked fine for a about 3 feet till i got high centered long ways on a high part of the concrete/street. so i was stuck again but not in anybodys way so noone bothered to help this time around..so in short after about two hours of wedging bricks, wood & snaping two jet ski straps my buddy with a trailblazer and some hard core tow straps came and yanked me off.

The only good that came from this was that i broke the speed bump and took it home.

these are the only two pics my brother took after i had already gotten off and broken the speed bump

+1 unfortunately a lowered Z can be a huge PITA! I scrape (in extreme conditions) already at stock heights! Let alone being dropped, just not worth the trouble IMHO.

A dropped Z does look uber **** though!

Your definition of functionality and my definition are completly different. Maybe you need your z high so u dont hit the parking stops when pulling into a parking spot at your local starbucks. Ill bet ill run away from you on any track.

Can you post normal pictures of the car? It does not even look all that low/slammed and the speed bump doesn't look horrible, maybe it's the bad pictures. Plus did you even try to angle over the bump rather then going straight at it?...

First off, I hope there wasn't any serious damage to car.

Secondly, dropping any car that low is just plain silly for a car that is going to driven on normal roads, but then kids do silly thing.

Finally, your Z just may run away from a stock height Z on a track, but I'll bet it would have nothing to do with it being lowered. BTW, how many times have you really driven your Z on a track?

Those rims are obviously made for racing.
