I have a monitor sitting perfectly in there for my rear view camera. Thinking of doing a hookup to my iphone and allow playing movies one of these days.
I routed all my excess wire for my ipod interface into my cubby (along with my ipod) so everything isnt a clusterfkt behind my Avic

That is what I want to do as well. One of these days I'll get around to ordering and installing it.
A couple other options I'm considering:
- Controls for a Laser Interceptor
- Remote unit for my V1
Right now I have a small flashlight, some cash, holds my V1 when car is parked, iPod, and sometimes cell phone. Amazing how much stuff can fit in such a small space.
It's just the regular dash mount disc, stuck to the back wall of the cubby, and a standard suction cup mount stuck to the disc. You can't use the mount that comes with the 660 or various newer models though - it extends out too far and you won't be able to close the door. You have to use the short mount, it used to come with the old streetpilot i3.
And then i just routed the power wire through the back.

I have a Farenheit 7" screen with a Garmin GVN-53 hooked up to it. I also integrated the control box for the X50 8500 right below the screen...put the mute button and the two LED's...
