Default Did I get a decent deal here?

Hey all,,,

Finally will be taking delivery on a slightly used Z (lady got pregnant and turned in the vehicle to upsize to an X-5 bimmer) (7k miles on the Z). I got the touring model with everything in it except the nav system for 31k even+tax (little lower, but only a few bucks). Is this a decent deal, fair price, or am I just paying up for my baby?? Can't find any pricing on the car on KBB.com, so was wondering if at least I got a fair price. Thanks for any help!

i would have sprung for alittle under 31k, but hey its a Z. I want one badly enough now that I'd pay 40k for it, if i had it that is.

as long as your happy, that's what matters,,,but you did ask, i don't think you got a good price...unless it has extremely low mileage, 6 spd, and extended warranty....

I think you could have found one for a little less...I recently purchased a used track model with factory added leather (non-navi) and 5500 miles for $29200 in Miami. It took me awhile to find it though, and the drive home was nearly 1,500 miles...

congrats on getting the car.

Did you say 31 and than tax on top of it? I think it's too expensive. If you could, I'd suggest getting out of the deal. Been reading some posts here and someone got a new 03 for around that kinda money.

I backed out of the deal....so no Z as of yet...... actually having 2nd thoughts....I know this will go over funky in here,,,, but thinking of golf R32... a company has mods done and measured on it.... 0-60 in 3.2 secs (see the link I have attached for all scoffers)...not as sexy lookin..but how funny to pull up next to a cocky lambo owner...in a box-car...only to leave him in my wake?? (I am having a passing thought of slapping a TDI emblem onto the car....after mods of course,,just to throw EVERYONE off...)...can't do that in a Z...(with or without future mods)....here's the link I speak of....

got video clips and all.... pretty amazing when I saw it....note the chirp on an AWD automobile...into 2nd gear....(still shaking my head)

see you guys later,

Whatever you do just dont buy that car for that price. What a rip off....you should be able to get that car from a private party for 27K easily!
