The more and more I drive this Z that I have the more and more I find myself watching my exit go by just so I can drive a little bit further and make the U-turn!
Anyone falling victim to this chronic disease?

Glad to know I'm not alone here!
Maybe we should start a support group. Not to cure this "condition" but the better enhance the experience?
Oh wait. There already are car clubs!

Anyone remember the ford focus commercial a few years back, where the kid kept going on errands just so he could drive the car. Anytime its nice out I'll make exuses to do things just so I can drive there. This trick actually gets me to the gym after work once in a blue moon
Nissan should make a superbowl commercial like that with the 370Z and blow the Hyundai one out of the water.

I suffer from "Goes out of his way to hit a few twists-and-turns" syndrome. Where I live the roads are flat and straight so it's only natural that I caught it. A golf course nearby has a 2-3 mile road that feeds my disease.
From the day I got my license until I left for college, neither of my parents did any grocery shopping or ran any errands.
I would go to the store (three miles from the house) to get some milk and some bread, and I'd be gone for three-and-a-half hours, and somehow, the car would have racked up another hundred miles on the odometer.

Now, I find myself taking the long way home every day from work. I could take the highway (20 minutes, door-to-door, from the office), but I meander through the surface streets and back roads. About an hour, maybe 75 minutes on a slow day . . .
We have an exit that is a long left hand sweeper with elevation that is 1.5 miles long. Hard for highway patrol to shoot radar on it because of the elevation unless they are right behind you. No one does the posted speed limit on it.
Local guys I'm referring to 522 exit onto I-405 to Bellevue outside of Woodinville.

I've gone miles out of my way just to have a little fun, literally. I've passed multiple exits and done circles around my house because it's a hot day, and an old C5 convertible is startin some ****.
I miss summer.
