The invoice price for a 2003 Track w/ everything exept nav and splash guards is $32,520. ($35,605 MSRP)
You'd be paying a little under invoice for a used car. IMHO, that's a ripoff. With some negotiating, you should be able to get the car new for at most $34k (and probably less).
When you're spending this much money, might as well go for a new car. And if this used model is a 2003, I would definitely get a newer 2004. The 2003 model is technically the "old" model now and has already taken a depreciation hit. So in addition to being used, it's lost some value to being old now.
$31.9k is a complete ripoff, do yourself a favor an buy it new. Only if the price were under $30k would I even "think" of buying it.
