Default The "Tow Hook" is NOT for towing

Another thread on here relates to the "tow" hook behind the front bumper.

Several people indicated the hook was for towing the car. No, it is not.

I wanted to highlight the issue because the idea of the hook being for towing is a popular misconception.

Read your manual. The hook is only for pulling the Z out of mud/snow/etc.

The manual has very specific instructions for how the Z is to be towed. See pages 6-10 thru 6-12.

And that is why you always leave your car parked in gear. This forces the need for the dolly on the back or a flatbed. Of course, if you are going to be charge, it will cost you much, much more.
