At least you can actually see out of the 350's rear quarter windows, whereas the 370, now that's another story

I love how whenever you look through the rear view mirror all you see is either the road or the bumper of the car behind you hahahahaha

+1.

I use those on every car I've owned. Best dang invention for a car ever. You never have to look over your shoulder again...

Default Blind Spots - HA!

Try driving a roadster with the top up! I've adjusted the mirrors properly and that helps a great deal.

Best fix - drop the top

Almost got into accident 2 days ago because the car in other lane was completely invisible for me. Luckily I don't do crazy fast lane switch so other car was able to honk the crap out of me.

But ya, after I moved the mirror(the right one) towards outside where my fender was no where to be seen, I felt more safe switching lanes.

This gives me an image of a stupid kid quickly changing lanes in and out of heavy traffic. Don't be that kid it is stupid and dangerous. When you change lanes, check your mirrors, turn your head, check mirrors and then change lanes smoothly. If you do this, you won't have problems and won't make every other motorist on the road hate you.

Good link. I drove for 20 years before I learned how to adjust side mirrors properly. It makes all the difference in the world.

Lot's of good advise here, especially having your mirrors adjusted properly and taking a quick glance over your shoulder.

the blind spot is really easy to take care of, you just need to get an idea of what cars are around you. its not a hassle at all for me. and when i do get unsure i just turn my head to check, or speed up ;p

now one thing i DO hate is when im listening to music and the bass from the music vibrates my rearview mirror everytime the beat goes off ;[

my windows are extra tinted so its hard at night sometimes but i can actually see through the side windows. +1 on finding out the 370z mirrors are a pain

I agree that it is important to be aware of the cars around you. However, you simply can't trust that all the time. You have to look, both with properly adjusted mirrors as well as turning your head. Drive for enough years, and you will be amazed at the number of times a car or motorcycle has suddenly "appeared" where you knew no car was.

Extra dark window tints are a hazard, period. Vanity over safety is stupid.

The only real blind spot is when someone is neck and neck with your rear qrt pannel, all else can be seen fine with adjusted mirrors.

If this something you get used to with the Z? Do you have to rely on your side mirrors for lane changing?

Has this caused anyone accidents or almost?
properly adjusted mirrors wont have any blindspot.
