Most MacPherson strut (and pretty much most strut-type) applications are "coil over strut." Since there are a lot more MacPherson strut-based cars out there, then yes, I'd say that most vehicles come with some kind of coil-over suspension application.

I never claimed to know it all, I never said I had an after market system, I was asking whether or not I did. If I knew a lot about the Z, I wouldn't have signed up here, I wouldn't have needed to start this thread(which kind of went off topic, my fault).

We may be talking past each other, I'm talking about from the first production cars, to modern production cars.

I may have misunderstood PDX_Racer's reply, if so, sorry about that. I thought he was jumping on the new guy, which has happened at a few other forums I've seen. PDX_Racer, set this straight, and I'll apologize, I don't want an e-fight over a misunderstanding.

I'm not sure what OP means.

My Dad does, where I live it's not a law that you have to sign your kids onto your insurance plan, so it keeps the rates down. It's the same as if he were to lend the car to his brother, or anyone else.
