Which do you guys find has better style/looks and why? Seems a lot of my friends/classmates(I'm 22) lean towards the G35 as a much better-looking car.

Hate the rear end of the G35. Don't like the blue as much. Doesn't have Lemans Sunset either
Like the extra seat and most of the styling.

 

It was just a question. I can't ask for opinions?? You can own a 350z and like it better for it's performance and like the g35 better for it's styling.

 

the lines are softer, smoother styling, less aggresive looking. I like it, but its not the look I wanted in a car. but as the sports coupe, its styling is proper, but the sports car got the more agressive look.

 

Used to like the G35 better, but the Z grew on me. Obviously.

I LOVE the LEDs (my bikes got 'em, too), but the Z is so much bolder and aggressive. The interior of the G35 puts me to sleep.

The proportions of the Z look mopre balanced, whereas the G35 looks a bit porky.

 

I could not bring myself to buying a G35 coupe. I have always wanted another Z after owning my 240Z. To buy a G35 coupe to me is like Diet Coke compared to Coke Classic. IMHO and of course others here being a 350Z forum the Z is something special. The G35 is nice but I would have felt like I did not buy a sports car (the real thing). How is that for brand loyalty!

BTW, I teach High School and I hear a lot of kids talking about the Z and not as many about the G35 which suprizes me a little being I have not heard kids talk too much about sports cars lately. It seems they get more excited about a 4x4 truck, SUV, or modded Civic than a Porche. It is all about the bling - bling now (can you say MTV cribs!). I would have expected the Infinity brand name to sway them more. Maybe if the G35 was made by Lexis that would think it was hotter?

 

I saw one at my school in the parking lot. It really did not appeal to me at all. G35 is not a Z. nuff said

PS: I hear ya on the kid talk Zland. They go crazy on my Z . (I live by a junior high)

 

G35 is nice looking, but I prefer the Z. I don't know what it is, but I think the Z is one of the best looking cars out there right now.

I think the G35 is sexy, but the Z is just plain hot. On the inside though, have to give the nod to the G35 coupe. But like that special someone, even the bad things about the Z make me love driving that girl around more!

the g35 is an awesome car.
however, i find the front of it odd looking for some reason. could be the shape of the small inlets under the grill that's contributing to it, but i think it's mostly the headlights.

the factory 18" rims are super-cool, though. i wish the z had those.

 

I use to love the look of the G35c on the editorials they had before the car came out. However, after seeing them on the road they started to look bland like every other Japanese/luxury sports coupe.

It's sporty but too "champagne" to be taken seriously.

Still a nice car I wouldn't mind having!

 

the g35 isnt design to turn as many heads. i love the rear tail lights and the profile looks great. it isnt as flashy as the 350z. i love the wheels that come on the g35 though..

I hated the 350z styling when I saw it in Road and Track for the first time. The tail lights were ugly...the car just didn't live up to the Z legend.

Finally, I saw the car on the road and it just looks awesome. The stance is wide and wicked. Theres something agressive about this car that makes it look so agile and handsome.

 

Maybe the problem is the ft of the G35 coupe looks like the G35 sedan. It is a nice Sedan but it is a sedan. The wheel base of the G35 coupe is longer too and for me, I like to think of a sports car as nimble.

I guess it comes down to if you want refinement or passion when you look at a car.

 

I think the 350z does not photograph well, especially the curves on the front fenders and roofline.

When I was deciding which to get, there was no question the G35 seemed to look at least as nice as the Z.

But when you see them together, I can't get past those curves, the 350z is it!

 

The G is a beautiful car. I never thought about buying one because I am a Z lover, nuff said. The lines are good and the nose great sleek look, very similar to the Z. But the rear were the Z's styling is really much better looking. The G rear is to flat, especially the bumper, the bumper is just to big. The bumper looks like it is over 12" wide. Not for me! My $0.02.

 

IMO...the Z's interior is much more young and aggressive compared to the G35, but the g35 coupe's rims are absolutely sick! If the 350z inheriterd the g's rims......that would be awesome. Other than that, I pick the 350 in terms of overall styling!

 

I agree that in pictures the G35 looks better than the Z, after I preordered I was pissed when I saw the pics of the G35c but then I got to see a Z at an autoshow and that was it not looking back after that. And now when I see them on the road they do not jump out at me like the Z does, the Z is definelty a head turner even 1 year later I still get the looks.
