Actually I got realll lucky! Pulled over for going 87 in a 65 zone. The trooper comes back to the car and says "This ticket could be for $279 but I'm going to give you a ticket for a $37 seatbelt violation which also means no points against your license. You got a real nice car there, dirve safer."

What a great break!!

Similar thing happened to me on my first Z pull over. I was doin 95 in a 60 at about 2:00am got pulled over, all the officer did was ask me what the hell kind of car the Z was then chit chat abit then told me to just slow it down. Z's kick ***

 

I've actually been pulled over twice in the Z, one time for speeding in a toll zone, once for speeding in a work zone. Both times, I got a warning. I never heard a word about the car either time.

 

i got pulled over going 49 in a 35, but the cop let me go cuz i was wearing my dads fireman shirt, and i have that sticker in the side window. I felt i was lucky...

 

While zooming down a righteous country road, I too was pulled over in my Z - with the temporary plate still on it.

I had just reached 1000 miles and I was letting her breathe. The officer was kind enough to see it may way, and he let me go. Personally, I don't expect to get lucky next time.

 

Man, all of these stories are awesome. I haven't gotten pulled over in my Z just yet, knock on wood*, but I hope I have the same luck as you did! Good stuff

Your lucky. Most of the cops here are real ***-holes.

 

First time in my z was for drag racing. The cop was behind me at the light, my rear window is dark, i could not see the cherries on top the car. I had a newer Camaro SS just start to walk away from me (rolling 3rd start). The Camaro kept going, i pulled over down the road, Cop called me dumb and went on his way

 

Got pulled over last night in Tempe, AZ doing 52 in a 35. The guy just said "its 35 around here" and left it at that. My lucky a$$ is ordering a Valentine 1 right away. Also was test driving an RX-8 and got pulled over for peeling out. He let me go to. Ive had a horseshoe up my a$$ lately(knock on wood)

 

i wish i was so lucky...cops here weren't too impressed...$271 ticket, 4 points, going 87 in a 55. guess it makes up for all the times i was let go...

 

i went through the same thing...but i wasnt speeding... i got stopped by a cop because i did an illegal pass...he pulls me over and was like..thought you got away with that? ... lol i was like umm no..he said im going to let you go just be more careful and he was like by the way is this the new nissan z.. and im like yea.. he is lyk nice car and especially nice color(daytona blue)
