I've done a few long trips:
I drove from Boise, ID to Philadelphia, PA which is about 2450 miles in 3 days. I averaged 92 until I hit Chicago.
Philly to Huntsville, AL and back which is 1680 miles roundtrip, I did each way without stopping.
Philly to Myrtle Beach, SC and back, total 1120 miles
My longest was Philly to LA in 4 days, total of 3050 miles including jaunts to the Grand Canyon and other adventures.
I love long trips in the Z, I love driving all day on the freeway with the windows down! I put 26K on the car in 18 months doing a ton of road trips.

Drove from San Diego, CA to Hartford, CT last month in 3 days total of 44 hours of driving time.
Drove 12 hours the first day to Albuquerque, NM , managed to get a speeding ticket for doin 85 on a 75 on the California border. Not bad for day one. Day two was pretty uneventful, just a nice 14 hour drive into the heart of Missouri.
After 12 hours of driving on day three while in Pennsylvania I decided to crash for the night, unfortunately the universe had other plans. As I rounded a sharp corner on the highway right before the motel exit I ran over a huge 18 wheeler truck tire remnant!
When i pulled off the exit I heard a loud scraping noise. I immediately pulled over at a nearby gas station and ran out the car. My heart sank when I saw the tire had torn a foot long crack down the bumper and basically ripped the skid plate half off.
I managed to tie everything together with some rope i bought from the gas station, but was so livid at the situation that I ended up driving the extra 6 hours to hartford
Other than that the 350Z was a blast and surprisingly comfortable
