Drove 2100 miles in 3 days
Made it to Phoenix from Cleveland as i posted back in oct. It took 31 hours drive time. (+3 hours stops/breaks and 2 nights in hotels)
first day was Cleveland to St. Louis in 8.5 hours. found a Riverboat casino that night, and hit the Gateway Arch before I left next morning.
day 2 was 10.5 to just outside Albuquerqe, NM.
day three almost 12 hours right into Phoenix.
Picked up a perfect sphere rock chip on drivers side windshield (still perfect. no cracking so I'll leave it)
and massive air loss in passenger tire somewhere on final day. (dealership found a nail and plugged it)
avg. mpg 27
avg spd 57
all in all nice and easy. would do it again no problem

I love long road trips like that. Last November I made the drive from Fairbanks, AK to Clarksville, TN in 4 days. 4000+ miles, 68 hours of total drive time in my old Maxima. I didn't stop to sleep once after re-entering the U.S. border in North Dakota. Let's just say the Ex wife was all the motivation I needed to get the trip done and over with as fast as possible.

This is worthless without pics of the ex-wife LOL.
And the maxima is a very comfortable car to be in lol sometimes I miss it. I had a 99 Se 5 spd with some Mods. I drove both ways from NY to Miami Beach in my Z and my back was wrecked lol but i hit 153mph in Georgia at like 6am (thank God there were no cops). I honestly would rather drive something more comfortable next time i wouldnt do it again. Once in FL though the car fit in perfect lol.

I did something similiar. I drove from Arizona to NJ. Avg speed was a little under 100. Only had a few days to spend with family after leaving tech school. Time was 32 hours and total miles was like 3200 +/- a few. 27 hours straight. Definitely would do it again. But the cloth seats gave me a wet *** after a couple hours of driving. Definitely want to try it in a GT or G35 with leather. The car performed excellent. Makes me want 2 350Zs. One for travel and the other for racing purposes.

You want to get that BEFORE it starts spidering.
I still win the touring award though. Whidbey Island Wa. to Henderson, NC. Then from NC down to Pensacola FL. A few weeks later From Pcola to SanAntonio Tx, then to Lemoore, CA. I was just stopping at rest stops to get some naps in. Also getting some free wifi and updating the members on here. I have the whole slideshow on myspace. And no I wont give it out. . .this place is full of photochopping clowns. lol.

Z is a pretty good long distance driving car. i've done Austin TX to Pasadena CA, 4 times and enjoy the drive everytime.
Totally agree with you there.. the seats do the same to me

I've had my car for 7 weeks... I have 4,500 miles on it. Business takes me from St Louis to Chicago and back, same day - 692 miles door to door, in 9.5 - 10 hours drive time. I do this so often, I can almost do it while napping.
The first trip on the seats was tiring - those seats are STIFF! But after a couple of trips, either my legs are getting tougher, or my seats "broke in". Now I find them very comfy.
I have the Touring with leather, so no wet butt for me.
