Definitely shows the location issue. I've got State Farm also. $10/month wreck bump plus rental coverage (less than $2). I'm in the Loserville, KY metro. Not the best rate in the world. (see above, $139/mo)

You earn the low rates.

Yea, well....I own 3 cars and one being a 350Z. I pay $118/month with a $500 deductible on all 3 cars.

What the hell does this mean?

Dude, how about writing in proper English? You know, grammar, spelling, constructing a proper sentence. Damn......not to crack, but I hope kids like this will NEVER be running the country.

However, and I'm not cracking on anyone who is in the military, but being in the military and SERVING are two different schools of thought.

Secondly.....who do you think is making up for your discounts? CORRECT! Every other person who is not getting your discount.

And if you want to be technical, you may be in the military, however, I worked for companies that supplied the military! I program CNC equipment to supply what you need. So where is my discount?

See how that ball rolls?

This is sick. I have 1 ticket (expired registration) good credit, and pay 270 a month. I mean, location is important, but my area is hardly the freaking ghetto.

950 deductable ftl. you will probably never make a small claim.

not a bad monthly rate though.

Your compensation for your low monthly is your deductible, which is practically 1k, and possibly comprehensive coverage.

I, being 29, pay $100 a month for full coverage with a $500 deductible which includes a pretty comprehensive package of practically "no questions asked, just give it to us, we'll fix it" ordeal with Allstate. Also given that I have a $80 rental rate per day (trust me, the lower you go on rental rate, the more you're going to limit yourself when you have to rent in case of mishaps), I think I'm getting a pretty good deal myself. But I do have to note, I haven't had a ticket or accident in the past 10 years until recently, and within that time I have owned an SUV, a compact and the current beloved Z, so these may be considerations to the lower rate I receive.

This all came into play with me being in an accident just recently, which honestly was my fault, but was not a hassle to deal with as I have experienced in the past with other insurance comps (21st Cen, Farmers, Wawanesa)... and with Allstate's Accident forgiveness, my rates are stillthe same.

I would highly consider thinking on how you drive, should play into factor of how you cover yourself in insurance coverage. If $9-12 extra per month gets you a lower deductible and possibly better comprehensive coverage, I would take it, but if its hurting your wallet that bad, I would reconsider owning a Z.

Also depends what your coverage is also. You paying that cheap but your coverage is only 25/50/25 which is the bare minimum in Texas I believe. Hit a expensive car and you're f#$ked. 950$ deductible is pretty high imo. I thought 700$ area was high. Mines @ 500$. I was paying near 200$, now around 135$ for 50/100/50 with a 500 deduct.

I pay 177/month in CT.. 03, 22 years old clean record.. I would say it's the area but I don't live in a city so I am not sure why it's higher. I have 100/300 coverage though, I saw a couple of people post low coverage, I don't know if I could ever go that low and still feel like my wages are safe from being docked if something ever happened. I do have an extra 3000 in modification coverage, for the easily stolen things like audio equip and wheels, hopefully it will go down when I hit 23

You have to look at everything on your policy, you might be getting by on your monthly payment but what about when god forbid you wreck the Z or something like that and your deductible is $1000 or more then whats the point of insurance when you're probably paying most of the damages on a deductible and check how much you're covered on damages. I'm 21 and pay $83 a month w/$500 deductible for a policy in NC w/nothing on my record for my 04 350z

Damn,im 38 paying 80 a month.I have only gotten 1 speeding ticket (19years ago) for 12 miles over and only 2 accidents neither my fault...So according to my calculations if I lived were you live I would be paying about 3 dollars a month.
