well i guess when some dude in a souped up m5/corvette/Porsche turbo etc. revs at me, one thing only comes to my mind: the Z looks intimidating enough even to guys in faster cars.
about compliments: i've heard some people say to themselves or their partner "ey nice car" or something like that.
A porsche cayman S owner walked up to me and gave compliments how he loves the Z as well. (then he started talking **** about hondas lOLZ)
a kid took many pics of my car with his cellfone while i was waiting for a parking spot.
some of my girl-friends love being in the passenger seat.
thats all i can think of

I've owned it thru the Fall and the Winter so far, so not many. One of the first weeks I had it, a couple of kids and their mom were next to me at a light. Asking me how much it was, how fast it goes etc. They thought it was a $40K+ car.
A few at the gas stations while filling up. One came over and said it was his dream car. That he's loved them since they first came out.
A few jaw drops from some Scion TC'ers and some smiles from girls in other cars.

9 times out of ten all I hear is "pretty color" lol. (Le Mans Sunset that is meticulously maintained)
I've heard "nice porsche" more than a few times, I always ust smile and say thanks lol.
Strangest was pulling into a 7-11 and having a guy actually bow down to my car as I was parking. lmao
If only people knew that they can score 350's for like 15k now...suckas

Just a chevy tahoe filled with kids snapping pictures with their camera phones hanging out the window, and the average complement at gas stations and rest stops. Nothing out of the norm.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Pretty much that "hey nice car" from women, kids, children, men of all ages. The highschool girls here are gold diggers so of course they all want rides.

My wife loves riding in the Z. even my boss admired it:
Captain: was that you the other day?
Me: over at Sonic? yeah that was me.
Captain: is that your car?
Me: yes
Gunner: (bronx accent)why whats he drive?
Captain: he drives a Z
Gunner: (bronx accent)no ****? what color?
Me: Daytona Blue
Gunner: (bronx accent)yeah i seen that outside, sharp lookin car.
Captain: where you parked now?
then we all proceed to the parking lot to stare at my Z. played 21 questions though...
lol some kid asked if it was an Audi

I always go to my local wawa by my house. I'm in college, so when I come home and go to wawa for a drink or something, I always see the high school kids that I went to school with in their ricers and pos civics with the exhaust hanging on the ground being dragged around. I have had people ask me what type of body kit my car had (its a nismo), and I tell them its factory. They never seem to believe me half the time. Some people know exactly what car it is, and won't stop raving about it! I see some people, when Im at the register, walk out and surround the car lookin at it, and continuously look inside the store to see if they see anybody who LOOKS like they drive this car. All in all, all my compliments have been positive, and usually jealousy filled.

My first month of having it people were talking and telling other people about it at my work. First week one guy I worked with asked another guy whos nissan that was. Some people were surprised it was mine because they think it costs so much. I do get looks mostly by high schoolers if I am driving around after schools out, and middle aged guys.

I have my own company and one of my clients was telling his daughter that I drove a real mans car and that she needs a real man like me.... Turns out his daughter was 14.... which was what made me laugh reading this topic but maybe in a few years. It was akward for the girl and I but a nice compliment.

My favorite compliment so far (only had the Z less than a month) has been the girls at the light jumping around tryna get my attention ( I knew they were ) I didnt look and then they finally honked to get my attention and their like "damnnnnnn sexyyyyy"
I just laughed and drove off
(they were in an old beat jeep, I need more class than that)

I got that back in '03 a month after I bought it - that was the final straw, ordered a plate the next day: ITZ A Z Still had people who would admire the car from the front or rear and ask "what kind of car is that" DOH! Got rid of the plate last year, figured the newness of the model had about played out.

The proper response here is not as fast as your mom! LOL J/k.....
as for the guy who said 16 and 17 year old girls tell them it makes them wet.... They're just not sure what's going on down there yet. They probably didn't wipe good enough. And unless you're under 18 yourself it might behove you to dump clutch and squeal away unless you enjoy your shoulders being stretched back way too much an bruising around the wrist and or ankles... " Hi... I am Jim Hanson and you're on To Catch a Predator"
