Glad you're okay man, but seriously racing should be on the track where there is less debris and no speed limits.
That's normal cruising speed for all traffic here on 81 in virginia
Trailers included.

Edit: Just finished going through the rest of the thread....there are some real douchebags in here. All of you know who you are. Go FU CK yourselves

OP: Glad your Ok! If you were in a roadster that would have easily been the end.

Lol. (at you, not with you) What a douchebag. OK, so his story goes as follows; a piece of road debris hits his car while in a turn and speeding and the end result is he wrecks his car. Yeah, that sounds pretty far fetched to me. What a moron!

Do you mean to tell me you have never broken the speed limit? If you say no then you are a liar. If you say yes then you are a hypocrite and need to STFU and GFY!

Now that is a proper accident

Hell be thanking your lucky stars that you have all your limbs still attached. It really sucks to see that happened to you but it gives the rest of us confidence that the 350 is a solid car for it to put up with a beating like that and the driver only walking away with scratches.

Hope insurance comes through for you.... sorry for your loss

I drive on I-75 all the time. 80 to 90 is the norm. 75 is the posted speed limit. Thats basically keeping up with traffic here.

The speed limit on I-75 is 75mph. So I wasnt doing anything to drastic for those of you who think I was. And for the guys that don't believe I hit a tire and lost control, you can go see what happens when you run over a large piece of rubber doing 90mph around a corner, It felt like my entire car jumped to the side.
Everyone else thanks for the replies. I will have first dibs on buying the car back from my insurance. Should get it for $100-$200, and I will be parting it out. As soon as I know whats not damaged ill let you guys know.

Did you read the OP's description of the accident? The piece of tire upset the balance of the car causing him to go sideways into the median. In essence, he was driving the Z on the edge. That is stupid and dangerous on a public road, whether you do the same thing or not.

I'm glad the OP is OK. I'm even more glad that no one else got hurt. I hope that he has learned that driving on the edge carries risk and just maybe he has learned that the unexpected can happen. That is something that old farts like me know, and young folks tend to learn the hard way.

10 over the limit I would consider normal. Every single person does it every single day. If you get stopped for it, you have no right to ***** about it.

Default Slammed Z

Nice slammed Z! Time for new bumpers/wide body kit. You should have to lower it much more!

Yep, the Z can take a licking and you can still walk away. Glad you ok.
