Oh,****! I'd all but forgotten about having my leg crushed by a 75lb door every time i turned my back on it. It even got my mom once! After that i corrected the problem.

Only thing I hate about my car isn't about MY car in general... I hate how mundane, run down and disrespected Zs are now and how they all look alike.
Fake "widebodies" unpainted CF panels, stretched tires and the loudest exhaust possible with a flame map.
unfortunately they get treated like civics and instead of looking nice 8/10 look like crap because they look the same.
That's the thing I hate, that I have to be associated with "that" crowd lol.
Other than that, if I didn't like it, it has been replaced or modified to my taste.

That last sentence pretty much sums it up about right.

I miss mine mostly because I paid cash for it. Crazy that back in 2011 whe I bought it i paid $23k, sold it 3 years later for $14k with a ton of mods. On my second corvette now, they are amazing cars but every time I see a nice 350 I stare

I'm in the same boat with you. Not being an Elitist or anything, but boy 90% of all Z are just broke-boys car. I actually stare at OEM Z33 longer than most Z33 builds, going "Dang, that's a nice Z!"

i don’t really hate anything about the car. I love the looks and it makes me feel connected to my dad who was a Datsun guy. When my son is older it will be his car.

I do however wish I could legally extract more power from the DE. Back when I bought in 2005 it there was no HR. I have a 2 car garage. It has a permanent spot in the garage even though its the least valuable ($ wise) car I have. I can pretty much buy any car I want at this point in life but I wont because I’m not willing to put my Z in the driveway. Thats how much I love this thing. And even though its not fast, it sounds and looks so good.

On occasion I drive it to work. My coworkers have Teslas, Range Rovers, Audi S6/S4 and other nice cars but people always go up to the Z to check it out. Or ask who’s car that is? Cracks me up.

BELIEVE ME, I don't care who owns the car if it's a kid without money just leave it stock IMO. One of the reasons I never take my car to shows is cause they don't appreciate cars built like mine and the amount of time/money that goes into it. I won't look any build down if it has replica everything as long as it's done tastefully, only thing that makes me roll my eyes is a bad wrap job.
The main thing is IG pushing the flames and mismatch carbon body panels. When I see a car like that my first thought is "poor Z"

I think Zs are beautiful as is and don't get enough credit for sure. By legally you mean like emissions and stuff? I'm pretty sure Stillen supercharger is legal but it's "only" 50hp or so.

hi. Yes, I meant emmissions. I need to pass NJ state inspection every 2 years. I have researched Stillen before because people have told me its street legal but I don’t think they claim that on the website or provide a carb sticker. I could be wrong. I’ll look again. I’d be ok w 50 whp .

Thanks for the suggestion.

I hate that any dent in the rear quarter panel requires it to be cut off and re-welded on. its not a bolt-on bolt-off solution like the front fenders. This causes larger dents in the rear to be really expensive if you want to fix!

I'm going to get a carbon fiber set to cover up my dents.

There's not much I hate besides the massive bill ill have to pay to do what I want.
