I got my 04 Enths 6mt yesterday. It was such a crazy day, but I wanted to post saying its here, after so much work, and waiting I now own a Z..
First off if anyone is in the NY area I would defiantly recommended Difeo Nissan in Jersey City. I live on Long Island, and drove there to pick it up, but I got the car through their Internet manager, and it I just amazing, they where amazing, the whole process was so easy it was scary. This was the first 04 coupe that they sold, besides 2 roadsters. I got the car for 28k, the sticker was 29.1 so I saved 1100 bucks which was great. Its a 6mt like I said, all mats, splash, and cargo. I don't drive stick at all, but I basically learned yesterday in traffic on the belt. I was doing real good till my dad got rear ended by a car, who was hit by another car. We where only doing about 5 miles an hour, so it wasn't that bad. If anyone was on the belt and saw a brand new Z with a maxima, altima and some Honda thing, pulled over outside JFK that was me
But nothing happened to the Z, and I made the trip with out any other incidents.
I really don't know what to say, Ive wanted this car since the day I test drove back in April, I worked my A$$ off this summer, something like 84 hours a week, to save up, and to be 21 years old, driving a Z, that is completely in my name, no cosigner, my own insurance, Is amazing. Not to too my own horn, but it feels like such an accomplishment, and im proud of myself, and proud of Nissan for making such an awesome car.
The other Z drivers rock too. On the way home I passed a guy in a CS, I beeped gave him a nod and shot him a smile. He then got behind me and just chilled the rest of the way. Feels great to belong to the club
.
Lastly this is a personal shout out to my friend Bob, who died of a brain aneurysm yesterday, as great of a car as this is, one can't forget how important life is, don't take it for granted and drive safe.

i was thinking of doing it my dads name, but i wanted to do this one my own. He helped me at the dealerships so i wouldn't get bambozled by them but in the end everything is in my name, so in the future if i need to make a big purchase, say a house, or another car, ill have some good credit. Im 21 years old, time for me to stop being a mommas/dads boy
.... thanks for the congrads, its too much fun to drive, well worth every minute of the wait, and ever penny i spent

Lol you guys are too funny. I was dark as hell all summer, just starting to loose it now. I hate the winter, no natural tans, and not alot of Z conducive weather
... thanks for all the congrads, I love this place, and after driving it again, on day 2, i love it even more. I just can't find these knee pads that came in the car, but I did get the new Cig ligheter! ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Moding prob won't start for a while, im not going to do anything too crazy, i kinda lost alot of intrest in them with my maxima, spending 700 bucks on a new suspesion and what not. Im def upgrading the kick plates (God bless courtesy Nissan
) I may get it tinted, and do something with the grill, Im def getting vanity plates, although I like the temp sticker
. I also havn't rulled out a CAI, i have one in my max and i love the way it sounds, so does everyone else
I actually like the way the front orange markers look on a SS, so im keeping those, and the rears are fine the way they are. So for now, im just enjoying her the way she came into the world, with no plates, and no mods ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also keeping witht he shoe issue, (btw yes i do own shoes, jsut was early in the morning and I wanted to take some pics while the sun was still low in the sky) has anyone driven it without shoes on, I feel like its soo much more fun, you and the car are much closer to being one with each other. tried it today right after that pic and was impressed. ok enough of this im starting to scare myself with the way I sound. Guess im just over joyed

congratulations!!!
hey, but looks like you have to service your engine soon, also, seems that your oil and battery are low...
your door is ajar, you forgot to release your hand brake, and didnt buckle your seat belt. also, your car seems to be idling a bit on the low side.
jk, enjoy the car, i know you will love it.

Congrats! Since you're in NY, I'd strongly suggest that that you get a hell of an alarm w/battery backup siren or switchover to halogen lights. From maxima.org, HID theft seems out of control over in NY and NJ.

ya everyone told me to watch the Xeons, but thats part of the reson I bought the enthus, and not a base. As for the alarm, im going to get lo jack, havn't heard alot of testamonials, but i would like to get some sort of auto start, as well as a top notch alarm.

Hey way cool.
Livin large on LI.
My first hot rod was a 72 400Magnum Dodge Charger way back in '84 loved that car. Had it till '97.
Hope you take care of your first rod.
Whatever you do. STAY the F!@# off the belt pky. Crazy Middle Eastern drivers are all that take the belt. That's one dangerous road.
Avoid the 495. Rocks, Stones, Aluminum Ladders just about everything you can find will end up on that road waiting for you to run into it.
Take care! I have to cover my car. Isabel is comming!
