take your next purchase to a mechanic and pay for an inspection. 100$ can save you a lot of grief.

I wish I could offer you some helpful advice, but I'm afraid the fact is that you got scammed. You mention getting familiar with the car after you had bought it. Did you examine this car or drive it? Did you have a professional mechanic check the car out beforehand? Actually, I already know the answer is no or you would never have bought the piece of junk.

I hope you at least learned a lesson from this. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to lawl.

I don't know what dealership legally can sell a car w/o proper emissions devices that was originally equipped with them from the manufacturer.

So, no matter what is wrong with the car, there's a strong chance you hold the upper hand unless there was some clause in the selling paperwork that says it's not street legal.

Wow... I feel bad for ya...

I bought my Z used too but we had it checked out before handing over the check. Havent had any problems at all.

But seeing that you bought it from a dealership, check with a lawyer there may be something you can do.

the only helpful advice i can give you is they sold an illegal car which from what i know you can get your money back for everything that ahd to be done to it prior to buying it as well as the price of the car. get with a good lawyer.

and now to flame a bit because i think this little episiode teaches you a damn good lesson. when i bought my Z i knew more about it than the dealership did. i knew everything that was wrong with it and made them fix it, radio was tampered with by previous owner, replaced the stock head unit no biggy. you need to really look at what your buying when you are spending a good amount of money. this is a good lesson that you need to really think before you buy.
sorry for the money loss get a good lawyer and maybe you can turn that around.

until then, flame on!!!!!!

I’ve made an appointment with my uncle’s mechanic, who is the chief Nissan mechanic in a Union Nissan Dealership
Should have had him look at it before you bought it.
