Dire warnings!
WARNING! DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY can occur
This is what I must face every time I drive my Z, in big bold letters plastered on the sun visor. And my passenger must see the same thing. All in order to keep some lawyers at Nissan happy.
I wouldn't mind if it were a sticker that I could peel off, but it seems to be somehow bonded right into the fabric on the sun visor.
Has anybody figured out if there's a way to remove these horrible eyesores?

Unfortunately, it's not just on Nissans. That's some stupid *** law and it has to be on all new vehicles. Good luck getting it out, it's like silk screened in there or something. Maybe a black sharpie?

Are you sure it's a law? It's definitely on every new vehicle I've seen in the past few years, and it is really unfortunate, but I assumed it was just a trend. I've heard you can get them off by scrubbing with alcohol, but you take the risk of destroying them. Maybe take it to an uphostery shop to have them covered with something, perhaps even get a Z logo embroidered on it. If anyone figures it out, share the wealth.
I may be wrong on this but I think if you replace them with new ones from the parts dept they will not have anything on it I remember doing that on a customers truck a few years back. Then it just said somethig about seat belt usage. Check with the parts dept and se if they have any visors in stock and compare with a new car on the lot.
Relax for a while. Somebody who does graphics will post a picture of covers that say Z350 that look nice and that he needs a quantity of 100 to get them made for about $10. After the smoke clears he will have several hundred "Count Me In's" and the game will be on.
I had mine before I got my S2000 and the Honda make ready guy put them on for me.
