Hey guys, well right now I'm driving a 1993 300zx, and i love the car...a lot.

My dad wants me to get a newer car and it sucks, but I'm stuck in the middle of what to get. I love the Z, but the G35 is nice I have to admit.

So what are some reasons why a 350z is the way to go?

BTW I'm 18, and no i don't go street racing blah blah blah, and i learned my lesson so don't worry about me being another person crashing their z into a tree or something of that nature.

g35 for looks 350z for the drive. i personally got to have a car where i like the drive better than the looks bc u will never get sick of a car u love driving but u will get sick of a car that you think looks nice. but this is my opinion. also if u need back seats then the G if you dont then a harder decision.

I have a 2+2 and NEVER use the backseats. Your right about driving the cars though, i need to get out their and see which one is for me.

I forgot to tell you that i'm going to put a flames on whichever car i get so I'll have about 5 more HP.

I think the Z looks better than a G personally. So it's a Z for me both ways...

dont worry about him, hes got some pretty bad issues about how cool he thinks he is flaming everyone on this site, and for some reason everyone looks up to him, let him think hes a big man, he knows hes nothing, but he will put on a show for everyone on the internet to make him feel good about himself, look at the way he talks, he talks **** like kids used to in high school, talking about dicks and moms and stuff...just ignore him, anyway, my buddy has a bone stock G that i rode in, 6 speed manual, and it was pretty fast, its not to far off from the Z....be ready to spend quite a bit of money on either car if you want to mod it extensively...if performance is something you want for cheap, go with an STI or EVO...cheap mods=fast car... .02 cents

LOL, I'm not planning on doing extensive engine modding on either. I'm going to pick up a z32TT later in about 3-4 years and that's going to be the car I will be modding. I'm thinking about working on looks on whichever car I get. The Nismo wing on the Z is WOW. Right now I'm just looking at the way I could work with both cars and I'm planning to test drive both soon. Are there any serious issues known to come up on the 350z?

I dislike the looks on the evo and sti, but i have respect for them.

i have to agree with you on this, i love every aspect of the STI but the looks doesnt really appeal to me as much as the Z would
but like you said, i too have lots of respect for the STI and EVO =)

theres a few problems hear and there, as far as the 03s im pretty sure its that they have bad transmissions, i got mine replaced though, and as far as the HR oil consumption, and tire feathering of the 05....( i could be wrong about that one) you would have to ask around and ask some of the owners who have HRs
