Unhappy $24K too much for Base Z with 7,000 miles?

I have good news and bad news.

Good news - I have an awesome opportunity with my job that will allow me to advance very quickly and gain some unique experience.

Bad news - You guessed it...I have to sell my Z

I have a Base Z with about 7,000 miles on it. Is it too much to ask about $24K for it? Please help.

Thats probably a decent place to start but you might have to budge on the price.

I am moving to Puerto Rico. The funny thing is that they know how much I LOVE my car, so they even offered to ship it for me (even though they typically don't.) The catch was that they offered me a huge car allowance if I didn't. Now with that allowance I can buy 2 cars (for me and my g/f) instead. Weird, but it makes good business sense. I will definitely miss it

I know, but the fact that she is quitting her job, and moving with me I thought that I should be considerate I think we will get engaged while we are down there anyway.

Same from me too. Keep in touch with the board if you can. How long is your projected stretch down there? Maybe get another Z down there or when you get back?

It looks like approx. 3 years for now. I'll definitely keep in touch.

Maybe when I get back there will be the twin turbo

Lets see, one car (Z) + make the company that just promoted you abit unhappy + miss a chance to impress your girl. Or. Two cars paid for by your company + keep your company happy + impress the hell out of your girl.

As much as I luv Zzzzs, this is a no-brainer. Enjoy the new wheels!

Thanks Rat's Z! The other issue is that cars are a lot more expensive in PR due to the import taxes. So, I would only be able to get a Z and nothing else. Plus everyone seems to think that taking the Z there will be a bad idea because of the bad driving and road conditions. Imagine the suspension on a perpetual pothole.
