Problem With Auto-Sealing Windows
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem...
I have about 9k on my '03. The glass has become loose in both windows. When you open either door, the motor engages but the glass doesn't move. You can push it down with your hand and when you close the door, it will go up as usual.
I'm kind of worried though because if the glass doesn't shift down at all and you close the door with it like that, there's a chance you could damage the window right? They warn about it in the manual, like when you disconnect the battery, etc.
Dealer told me they didn't have time to fix it. WTF!? I just got rear-ended as well so I told them off and am going to try to have everything fixed at once. I hope that isn't a recurring trend with these windows. I don't want to have to tighten them up every 10K or so...
