Default 350z for sale (Question)

There is a 350z for sale and the owner posted this about the engine:

"After the car was complete I found that the middle thrust bearing is worn so the car does run and drive but after the oil warms up and you rev the motor past 3000 rpm it will make some noise. So it is either going to need a crank kit or a motor replacement all together."

i do not know a whole lot about engines, but does this sound like something that would be easy for a mechanic to fix? Is this costly? Thats really all the info I have. Really, I am just looking worst case scenerio.

Any opinions?

I think it goes without saying that both of those would be rather complex and expensive fixes.

this was a 2007 nismo that was on ebay. It was a salvage car with 11,000 miles and had fromt damage that apparently was repaired by a body shop. The car is about 14 hours from me. His buy it now was 15,000, which seemed a bit high...

Move on to a better deal. This sounds more and more worse as this thread continues.

The low price attracts people looking for a sweet deal. Unfortunetly they neglect to realize the thousands they will dump into to get it where it should have been from the start.
