I know this is in the wrong forum but would people with liquid aluminum cars please post some pics. Like in the sunlight and at dusk, etc.

 

I talked to a friend the other day who was unaware about the new color being offered on the Z/s! Anyway he was telling me that he was browsing Crown Nissan in Greensboro, NC and they had a Z of this new color. Not only did it look sharp they were asking 1800 over MSRP due to the color and the newness. My friend found that hard to believe but in Honesty I don't. Consumers love to have the first of everything so why not capitalize on this color !

 

i will never buy a car from crown, crown is a ripp off. they suck,

 

it is sposed to be a 1100$ option...

 

i passed by crown today and they do have 2 liquid aluminum's in stock, by the way it is a very sweet color but not worth $1100.

I've been dying to see the LA color so today I called around and located a dealer with one. Stopped by and had a look. I would describe it as Chrome silver with a less Mettallic finish. (less relections) It looks sort of Satin like. From a distance I doubt you'd ever notice the difference between CS and LA.
I'd never pay more for the LA paint. I predict there'll be a lot of LA Z's getting marked down to normal Z price just to get them off the lot in the future.

 

Why would anyone pay $1000 extra for an extra color?
