Buying a Condo - Parking my Z! Need suggestions
The wife and I are looking at houses, townhouses and condos right now as well. I say no to anything that doesn't have a garage. And a carport isn't enough either. It just doesn't offer enough protection. Plus, I need a place for my tools.
LOL screw the garage. If you in Denver or anywhere it snows, a beater is a must!! I live in Raleigh NC and we dont get much snow at all, but my old grand cherokee is ready for the rain and snow and the Z sees nothing but sunshine. Its a 2003 model and it looks like it just came off the show room floor.
HEY i saw your car at the fast and furios CAR SHow in jersey back in april....i was part of teh crew of tc's there.
I don't have a garage, but I have reserved spots for my condo in our parking lot. I wish I had a garage, but I haven't had any issues about my outside parking for 3 years (knock on wood).
At the very least, get some form of private parking as part of your condo. Across the street sounds lame and doesn't seem very safe. The closer the car is to your home the better. If its a private garage, thats fine too. The 20K extra is going to be like what..an extra 100 per month? So your 50 per month for your across the street parking vs 100 per month...I think the extra 50 is no big deal and a no brainer.

Yeah that show was crazy cold that day. I saw all the Tc's take over that one whole side.
Ended up dipping out early and went to the Regal Show down rt 1.
