Default Zmax micro-lubricant - i dont know if this belongs here or technical

http://www.buywonderfulproducts.com/zmax/zmax.html

you guys must have seen the infomercials for this product. It claims that it will allow your car to run without engine oil for several hundred miles to show you the power of it. but in no means is it their recommendation to do so.

Their claim...
zMAX™ is not an oil additive but a micro-lubricant that actually soaks into metal. The small micro-lubricants get into places that regular oils can't reach! They clean out carbon varnish and other deposits that can make your engine run at a high temperature. With zMAX™ you'll get better gas mileage, reduced emissions and more power. Because zMAX™ is not an oil additive, it treats the metal not the oil. zMAX™ disperses carbon and tunes your combustion chamber.

I have seen this on shelfs ar AutoZone and Pep Boys. Does this really work? Anyone ever use this?

FYI - This is what happens when the forum is down, resort to infomercials for products to make your Z happy. lol.

thanks,

Matt

Default DO NOT BUY ZMAX! Articfury informed me of an FTC lawsuit...

matt--

Step away from the Zmax and no one will get hurt.

Seriously though, the FTC filed suit against the makers of zMax.
Read this. Definitely better to just stick to the good ol' synthetics.
