What would you have done different then, knowing what you know now?

Different trim level?
Different color?
More money down?
Haggled for better price?
Different car?!
etc.

Just curious.

there wasnt much haggling the price when i bought mine.. i might have gotten the frost interior for my brickyard and maybe the track model but no frost for the track .... i got the brickyard on a fluke.. was ready to write a check for a white one when the dealership started dicking me around.. decided i didnt want to give them my business and got a brickyard at the dealership down the street for a better price

Absolutely nothing. Using the Nissan site I searched the inventory of every dealer north of Los Angeles. I found the exact car I wanted at a dealer 300 miles south of me. My car broker made the deal at MSRP (going rate at the time) and the dealer had it driven to my front door.

Nothing but fond memories since!

I would have negotiated harder... have a feeling that I could have gotten a better deal if I pushed harder on the price (like trying the "I'm goin' to shop around" kind of thing...).

I got 400<MSRP, but have a feeling that I could have gotten closer to 1000<MSRP (preorder in beginning of Feb 2003).

I would have looked more closely at the Daytona Blue, but I think I still would have bought the SuperBlack. Actually, I researched everything pretty closely and I was pleasantly surprised with my deal. Tammy, the GM at Castrucci in Dayton, rocks. She did everything she could to find the car I wanted and she gave me a Z for the whole afternoon to check it out. That iced the deal.

Hey nissan 350Z, post pix when you get your clear bra. (Okay, Just Kidding!)

Not get the track edition.

- I only care for the brakes, which even then... I would have prefered an enthusiast edition where I could have put stoptechs all around. The stability control is useless. As for the wheels... sure they look sweet, but far too narrow for any REAL meat.

Not gotten black.

- A black car is sweet, regardless. When my ride is clean I get stares from EVERYWHERE. Though I finally saw a white Z on the road, then Zaino'd... oh man... CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Next Z... Pikes Peak White with HUGE Silver StopTechs...

I *might* have gone with an Enthusiast model and used the left over $$$$$$ for Tires/Wheels & springs. Other than that, I'm completely happy with what I got.

Would have considered Track, and stock Nav.

Might have gone for another color, DB, SB, possibly even SS. White looks very nice also.

Default Nothing....

I love my enthusiast. I have all options except sidebags. Love my color, Silverstone, & love the 6 speed.

I think the enthusiast is the BEST all-round model for the $$$

Wouldn't change a thing with the purchasing process...the dealership was more than willing to haggle with me, and I ended up getting my Z for $2,000 under MSRP.

Black actually wasn't my first color choice...I wanted Silverstone, but there wasn't a Silverstone automatic to be had within a hundred miles of me.

I wouldnt of changed a thing except maybe getting a manual...

I like my auto. Its plenty fast enough for me. But everyone that looks at my car the first thing they do is to make sure its a manual. And when they see its not they ask me why did i get a Automatic...

I got my Redline (black interior) Touring Automatic with aero kit and everything else except nav for $32k tax. title. everything...

I didnt think that was a bad price

Only three complaints i have had about this car...

The sound system (changed out no biggy)
The rattle in the rear which i still havent fixed....
and the paint.. It sucks...

I would not change anything as far as level or coloer but i have to admit, I wish I could own just about every color, I like them all. The white has been growing on me lately.
