Greetings from The Z Club of Texas!!!

My name is Chazz Gibson, and I am planning the trip to the 16th annual International ZCCA convention, For the Z club Of Texas(Dallas). I was wanting to find out how many and from which clubs would like to join up with our Friday (10/03/03) caravan, and give everybody a little more Info.

Well it seems that everybody has not been getting my E-mails so here is all the Info you should need. If you or your Z club are wanting to meet up with our Caravan let me know ASAP, so I can make all the Arrangements.

The Official Meeting place to start the caravan is the Cracker Barrel(In Mesquite TX) on !0/3/03. This is where the All the other Z clubs in Texas and anybody else coming from the west, should hook up with us.
Depending on where your starting point is, your destination will be located at 5304 N. Galloway Avenue, Mesquite, TX 75150.

Try to get there at 6:00am if you want to eat, as we are trying to hit the road at 7:00am to get a head start on traffic.


Basically, it is located at the Oats/Galloway Exit off 635 on the service road and you can see it from the highway. If you are heading East on 635, you need to exit Number 9A Oates/Galloway exit. Turn right onto Oates Drive, then turn right onto N. Galloway Avenue and you will see the restaurant on your right hand side. If you are heading West on 635, you need to exit Oates, go to the stop light and take a left at Galloway and you will see the Cracker Barrel on your right side.

We will make our first stop East of Little Rock, Arkansas (via I-30) around 11am or 12pm at the Shell Station Exit 175 (Highyway 31) off I-40 (to meet the OKC and AK Z clubs). Our next stop will be in Memphis, TN via I-40 for lunch about 1 or 2pm and to check out Graceland if anybody wants to. Then on to Nashville TN.

We will be spending the night in Nashville(see below). From Nashville we will get off
the Beat and Path of the Interstates for some scenic driving In the hills of
TN,KY and West VA. Taking US 31E and then the Blue Grass Pkwy in to Lexington, KY. Form there Taking I 64 to Sr-2, Ohio River Rd, and Following the River up to I 77. This looks like a Very Nice Drive. We will be Picking up the Cincinnati and Columbus in the Cambridge, OH area around 2:00PM Saturday (10/04). There is a BP and MacDonald's On 40 (E Wheeling Ave) just west of I-77. the Continue on I-77 to Cleveland.

Our next stop will be Cleveland OH where we will spend Saturday night and attend a party hosted by Bonnie Swirsky from the ZACOhio. If we Have time also a tour of the Rock & Roll hall of fame. Then on to Erie PA Via I-90 and on to I-86w through NY to State Route 17 then to I-88.

Then a Stop near Albany, NY For a Lunch hosted by Chris Holmes the President of the Z Assoc of NY, and finally arrive In Nashua, NH on Sunday Afternoon Around 3 or 4pm (maybe later if we stay at Chris's for awhile)

Friday Night

Nashville, Homestead Suite Hotel, Nashville Airport.
615 316 9020. Arrive 10/3 after 6, depart 10/4.
Rate 31.99 + tax = 36.54 total.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.
The block of rooms I have reserved will "cancel" at midnight
on "9/26" and you must call and make your own reservations in order
to have a room.
The block and rates are listed under "Z club" for both hotels.
You must tell them "Z Club" to get these rates. After 9/26, you
will pay rack rate which is considerably higher.


Please Reserve your rooms as soon as Possible

I will have Hard Copies of the route Available as of 9/19/03. If you would like me to mail you a copy, Let me know. I will also have some with me at the Meeting point above (Cracker Barrel)

7 to 10 Zs, but I think more are hooking up with us in Nashville. so as many as 15 or 20 by the time we leave Nashville Sat
