read vin?
Can anyone tell me how to read a 2004 vin?
Seems to me the VIN on the 2003's had the production numer of the car at the end. For example, the last digits of the vin could be something like 16324 which meant that car was the 16324 car to roll off the assembly line(at least I think that is correct).
For the 2004 VIN's that logic does not seem to work. Any ideas?

As far as I know, the methodology of the VIN #'s has not changed. See if this link helps.
