Default What should the next Z car be?

Lately, I've been wondering what the next incarnation of the Z will perform like. I doubt they will change anything on the current mode (performancewise) since it is selling very well and it would be costly to do so. But my real question is; what will the next Z be? A 4.5 litre V8 perhaps. A 450Z sounds like a great idea. For whatever reason, I feel the next Z will probably be a V8.
Anybody have any thoughts on info?

It should

-stay NA, leave turbo to GT-R, it's already front heavy
-not have AWD
-increase displacement to 4.0 L
-Have option of having racing ECU
-More solid interior
-Sturdier gear box to handle the extra ponies
-Go on a diet and lose 200 lbs
or
-Larger Brake kits, it's too small for a car this size.

What are the specs on the VQ40DE? I'm having a hard time finding a referance to it online.

Instead of guessing, read "Nissan 350Z - Behind the Resurrection of a legend" by John Lamm. I got it through www.bn.com for $24.95.

Interesting quote on pg 47 of the book. Joel Weeks, who heads product planning for the Z car for Nissan states " Even with the great design we have, we think we are looking at a peak for this sports car design....maybe 2-3 years of great sales, but to be honest from a business standpoint, letting the volume drop off a bit towards the end until we refresh the the car again. We are planning a good mid-life cycle, throw in some hp, whether it is N/A increased or even some forced injection. But we are making sure-looking at the past, what Porche & BMW have done with their sports cars-that we keep them fresh to try as best as possible to keep the volume up."

Now you got your answer from the people that created the Z.

Wait here's my question, new cars from Japan has to meet the strict emissions standard. Which is why a lot of vehicles are going N/A or just dissappeared off the line (Z, RX-7, Supra, VR4, etc)

So will the Z and GT-R eventually go the way of FI? Or just increase displacement/cylinders and leave it up to customers to install aftermarket FI kits?
