yeah and you can do it by turning the key in either direction in the door and they go up or come down. but seriously, what good is that? you're already at the car's door!

reminds me of that stupid VW commercial where the guy drags his wife outside to show him that window going up and down with the key.

As a Nissan salesman, I know 1 good thing that comes from that option. With the "Z" it's not much help(can't use lock-box's, because of index glass), but with the "Maxima" it's great...you can take a lock-box off & on w/o having to get inside the car...makes life a lot easier.

You NOOBs are scary smart, wow I wonder if your hints are in the owners manual???

Don't mind all of the joke.

Most of them don't even know that there's an emergency hatch release under the rear strut tower.

1. How do I open the hatch without using the remote?
A. There's a button right above the rear licence plate. Feel for it, and press it to open the hatch. The door locks have to be unlocked first though.

2. How do I open the windows with a key?
A. Insert key into door, turn left and keep it there for 2 seconds.

Post 41

: How can I open the trunk from Inside the car?

A: There is a small cord that goes under the Strut braces on the rear. if you pull that cord it will pop the trunk.

[Note: That's an emergency release that isn't readily accessable from the front seats ]
