2 yellow 35th anniversaries where I live, 1 that does track dys wif me & 1 that just sits in the garage. I am prettty sure that limited edition Nissan cars are doled out to dealerships that are top performers sales wise and also the # of years with Datsun/Nissan.

My local dealership has already gotten 4 GT-R's this year, I am in a very small market

this type of argument about 17 year olds driving sports cars has been covered far to many times. It's really not that big a deal. If the driver drives responsibly, then chances are nothing bad will happen. It's all about the driver - not the drivers age. Nonetheless, it's sad to see a yellow Z perish.

I had a modded 300zx twin turbo when i was 16 and ended up fine, age has nothing to do with it- its maturity level. And all these people who act like you should be 100% independent if you own a 350z, get real. These cars are not worth much. If a parents buy a daughter a brand new scion TC it is probably worth more than most of our 350z's used. Its not like kids who are young and own a 350z are overly spoiled. Girls who get brand new BMW and Mercedes whould be the ones who catch ****.

sorry to see a z wreck and sorry to see a group of what i thought were mature older guys argue like were in highschool. 17 or 70 people do stupid things in fast cars. the fastest speeding ticket in the world was from a guy in a ccx and i bet he wasnt in his 20's or 30's. maturity level defines a driver not his age. now stop this idiotic argument over it

So I am sorry to not be part of that stereotype, but I grew up quickly. I hate to see this thread go to an arguement, but I hate when people judge me when they don't know me. I don't judge you, so you should not judge me.
Wow you worked a whole 2 years!!?!!?

same here. but ive been working and saving every last dime since i saw a z for the first time and i knew i had to make one mine so i did oh and my mom told me if i want a car i have to work for it cause shes not gonna buy me one. so here i am 17 and 10k in debt. would i do it again hell yes. how many people can say that they purchased one of there dream cars at 17(i made sure i had it the day i turned 17) with there own money. so when i turn 18 on july 23 2009 she me and her will have been together for a year.
and lets see 0 accidents and i live in ny u know how aggressive we drive. you show the power some respect and you will be able to handle it but the moment you start abusing that power and keep pushing it beyond your capabilities you will lose it. and when you lose it you will lose it bad. i do also have fun with it and learn how to control the power. but there are certain times for that. i know im only 17 but i have seen people 4X my age with less power get in wore accidents. i also dd my z i drove it in the snow and its still in once piece i saw mini vans and civics crashed and totaled so age is not a factor here

I'm not trying to be an ***, but don't attack people you don't even know. A 17 year old buying a Z33 on their own is entirely possible, it just requires hard work and being smart with their money. I'm 18 myself and shopping around for an 07-08 with my own money. Granted not in full, I have about 50% for a down payment and the rest is getting financed. I suppose that's impossible too, right?

Like I said.. not trying to start anything but it doesn't make sense to attack people on the internet when you don't know what they are or are not capable of. Certainly the vast, vast majority of teens are nowhere near that kind of capacity but the ones who have decent paying work opportunities and the sense to manage money can.

No 17 year old could have decent paying work while in school.

I had a high paying (for my age) job in high school, and after high school things have only improved. I'm not even specifically defending him because I'm well aware that EVERY 16-20 year old pays all their own bills and buys their own car, yeahhhhh right! I'm tired of hearing it too. But just keep in mind that there are a few here and there that are in a good enough financial situation to gain some independence from their parents paying for everything.

The one thing I do have to say is that even though I pay for it thank god I get to be on my parents insurance policy and receive all of their discounts. Even with that insurance on my Z32 at 18 was high and it's only going up for the Z33.

Um okay? And you know this how? Yeah your a dumbass. When I was 16-17 i worked for outback steakhouse, and bjs brewhouse as there head cook, while after that working for a huge club in los angeles as there cook. Making about 15.50 an hour at my last job at 17 years old working 40 hours a week. I saved up for my 2008 350z. At 15 years old I worked for Six Flags just as a cashier not making a lot of money, but I saved all of it, and did not spend a cent. So please do not assume that I could not save up for a 30,000 car because it is possible, if you know how to save money.

Oh and thanks for even saying that, because it makes me feel even way better, accomplishing something you think is so hard to do.
